Description: Fresh Eats Café was founded in 2007 by Homeland NGO to help Cambodian children from disadvantaged backgrounds gain an education and learn skills for future employment. Outside of school hours the children come to the café to learn hospitality skills and English. During the course of the day we train up to six children during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our goal is to provide the children with skills that will offer the opportunity for future employment in the hospitality business. In addition to the hospitality skills learnt at the café, the children are also taught weaving, sewing and traditional dance. The products displayed at Fresh Eats Café are made by the children in care at the weaving centre run by Homeland NGO.  All the funds raised go directly to the children's education and sustainability of the activity.

Only had drinks here but seems a worthwhile cause. Service was great an location is good on a hot day to pop in and grab a cold drink.

Fresh Eats Cafe has a wide range of options both western-style and Khmer. They also offer plenty vegetarian options which can be hard to find in Cambodia. The stir fried vegetables were delicious and came with tofu & cashews! Smoothies are also very yummy :-) Fresh Eats is a project of local NGO Homeland supporting vulnerable children. I loved the... First had an evening meal of chicken curry and steamed rice - delicious! Next day we picked up some filled rolls to take out on a scooter for a picnic lunch. Our experience was good - friendly service and tasty food. This is a woman's co-operative so there were alsoa few handicraft items on sale - worth a look

Came here twice. First for lunch had the satay chicken. Could have done with a bit more sauce but the chicken was really tasty so didnt bother me much. Then came for dessert when the place I wanted to go for dinner and dessert was closed. They didnt have sticky rice unfortunately so I had crepe with banana and nutella... More

I went there for lunch today for the first time and was delighted with both the food and the service. I had heard that before, neither were wonderful, but something has definitely changed. I had a delicious lunch of a smoothie, a fruit plate, and a veggie/cashew/tofu stir fry with rice for $2 and ate everything. I will definitely go... More

The same story as the previous few reviewers. Not even basic communication and the only glimmer of energy was when I asked for the bill straight after eating! If the person 'serving' is sat at the counter using there smart phone, ignoring their customers......walk on.

Just the evening before we visited Jaan Bai so the contrast was striking. Jaan Bai has the same founding philosophy, but the food is incredibly tasty, everything is cheaper, there's good music, cool furniture and magazine. The people is smiling and always refilling our glasses of water. Here, instead... We arrived around 8 pm and the place was deserted. No... More

We went at around 10 O'clock in the morning for breakfast and took a seat at the side of the road. Someone came over with 2 menus and just through them on the table and walked straight off without saying a word. After spending a few minutes browsing the menu we wanted to ask a few questions about food availability.... More

We drop in from time to time for fruit shakes and crêpes. There seems to be little signs of 'outside' influence - possibly in the name of business development - but sadly gone wrong. Banana shake not as thick as I remember it and crêpe was not even close to its previous standard. The mains we ordered were pretty plain... More

Scrambled eggs were spiced nicely with oregano and some other italian spices, nice to taste something more inventive. French toast was good and the shake was great. Go have breakfast here! Even though we came in half an hour before they usually open, we were served anyway!
