I seriously wondered if they actually learned to cook in India ... Everything was disgusting. My friends had chicken that might have been dead for too long. I had a vegetarian dish and I asked spicy, instead I got it salty. Way too salty. Even the lassi was nothing close to a proper lassi ...

Very friendly and efficient service. Excellent food (amazing chapattis) at a very reasonable price. You can also get a set course biriyani special if you book ahead for just 3500 kyat including a beer before and masala tea after your meal!

The Roti was delicious. I am not one to get sick of rice, but the Indian flavours were tasty. Portions could be a little larger, but were on par with the rest of Myanmar. All round good experience. The guest book will attest to that!

Since, it is the only Indian food in Nyaung Shwe, we tried it. Ordered set meal of mutton curry and chicken tandoori. Owner was friendly and all and very accommodating, even gave us extra bread and several side dishes. The meal would have been perfect but it was just too salty for our taste. We are Asians too so we... More

We ate lunch here, which was delicious and very varied for a reasonable price. The restaurant is small and located on the main road. The family who owns the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming.

The food here was fantastic. We visited three times during our stay we loved it so much. The chapati meals were made as spicy as you liked, and came with an assortment of side dishes to create a great meal experience. The owner is super friendly and shared lots of information about the town and activities with us as well.

My travel buddies and I had such a fab meal here - we arrived late in the afternoon (after an incredible Burmese massage round the corner) to find that the chef was sleeping... so her mother rolled up her sleeves and cooked for us instead. Really tasty chicken curry, excellent chapattis and salads, but the best part was the friendly... More

I had a delicious meal in this restaurant and enjoyed the company of the friendly owner who then invited me to her niece's wedding the next day. What a great experience! Such warmth and hospitality.

What the other reviewers said about the owner is correct - she is very friendly and anxious to please. However, the food we had there was not great. We ordered the tandoori chicken masala - which had little or no resemblance to anything that we know by that name. More importantly, it was so loaded with salt that it was... More
