It was following a number of good recommendations from Trip Advisor that led us to seek out this restaurant. This was our first Holiday to Nessebar and we were looking for somewhere to try some authentic Bulgarian food. Mehana Pri Shoptie turned out to be where we dined for the last 3 nights of our holiday due to their warm... More

I have been coming to this wonderful restaurant for many years. It is the only restaurant in the old town that has consistently good food and great value for money. Stanismir, the owner always welcomes me back like an old friend. The only problem is finding it, so turn left off the causeway, past the port, up the hill, take... More

Really nice food, the owner buys fresh fish every day - I recommend to ask him about it, but he offers it anyway to his guests. It is not a fine dining at all, but has lots of charm. Nice wines by the glass, pizzas are excellent for kids. A must go in Nessebar!

Our first visit to this nice place was about 2 years ago. After that we just can't imagine our visit to Old Nessebar without having a nice meal of fish and mussels accompanied with great housewine in a friendly folk atmosphere at this special place! Thank you guys! See ya next summer!

We were in Nessebar on a cold evening at the end of September. Needless to say, the crowds were gone. We went into the restaurant around 7 and were the only ones there. Our waiter was very friendly. We had the Sach, salad, and wine which was more than enough for two and DELICIOUS.

Service was friendly and prompt. We had an awesome fresh sach with mixed vegetables and meat. Yummy! It was enough for at least 3 or 4 people along with a salad. The meats and veggies were delightfully cartelized. The salad was fresh. There is no sea view here, but the courtyard was quite cozy. Bulgarian artifacts dotted the courtyard.

I was looking for a taste of peasant Bulgaria and I found it here . Even at the end of teh season we were treated like Royalty. We had fun with the manager learning Bulgarian phrases and he played authentic folk music. Food was excellent and very easy on the wallet too.

This was a great little restaurant that we found accidentally. Its located a few streets away from the many restaurants that line the cliffs to the sea. The menu had a great selection and the waiter was very helpful and friendly with our many questions and requests. I would definitely recommend this place for others in Nessebar!

The restaurant is situated in the old town, slightly tucked away from the main touristic footpaths. We were surprised to find a roomy court yard, small pond and enough space for children to run around. We were the only guests that night, so the patron took great care of us, offering a great selection of grilled veggies, tender lamb, home... More
