Very Brazilian

I have been there a month ago for the first time and we (me and my family) had one of the best gastronomic experiences ever. Great food and fair price. Must go!

Excelent place to test the Brazilian cuisine, the place is very beautiful with great pictures about brazilian cuisines and several handcrafts. The service is very good, despite the fact we have to wait for the main dish almost 1 hour and a half, but I understand because it was sunday and the restaurant was full... at the end the wait... Excellent choice if you want to experience Brazil's local cuisines from the main regions of this huge country. Very well executed dishes and desserts. Excellent service. Great location. We had "Moqueca de Camarão" (like a shrimp stew), little "pasteis" as appetizer and other items I can't remember the name... All excellent. [Shrimp dish pic.]

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We arrived when it opened and did not need reservations. The decor is beautiful and charming. Our appetizer of pork cracklings was so so, but our fish stew was excellent. Wine was reasonable. Overall we really liked the place.

Love this place, have been eating at this restaurant since it was located at Rua Bela Cintra. One of the best brazilian food restaurants in Sao Paulo, the barreado (beef simmered in a sealed pot for hours served with manioca flour and plantains) is always a good choice. For the dessert i definetely recommend the tapioca pudding!

I usually eat out, especially for business and for leisure as well. This place is awesome, the food are really very good, the service and atmosphere is good as well. I really recomend to enjoy 'barreado' with cachaça and a local beer.

We ended up sharing a wide selection of appetizer small plates and even shared the main plates. Great service and a fantastic selection of pan-Brazilian specialties from different regions. Perfect for business dinner if it has an air of relaxation and fun dialogue.

Tordesilhas is an attractive, upscale venue. Service is good and prompt. We selected their tasting menu. It had a "gourmet flair" and was generally quite good. Some selections seemed a bit of a reach and all were small plates. We are not big eaters, but wished the portions were larger or there were a few more plates. In all, a... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
