been here a couple of times before but on my last visit the food was not very good. I am indian and cook my own at home. The first couple of times i was here the food was tasty and not bad, i would not say it was the best indian i have had abroad but due to the limited... More

I'm a British journalist from Wolverhampton, which has some fine Indian restaurants. This is by far the best one I have eaten in São Paulo in the eight years I have lived here. Excellent home-made drinks, the Rogan Josh I had was fiery and the service was friendly..

I think that Tandoor is the best indian restaurant in the town. Curry is spicy and naan is freshly-baked and delicious. Simple, quite, lovely. Much better than Ganesh. The lamb with yogurt is very good. Price is OK, for S. Paulo.

I'm an Indian and I've visited Tandoor many times during my stay in São Paulo in last 1.5 years. I can summarize the experience so far as per the headline - 'Great location, OK food'. The restaurant is quite approachable from Paulista Avenue and Jardins area and the surroundings and the ambiance inside are quite nice. Food however could be... More

One of best indian restaurants in the town. Curry is spicy and naan is freshly-baked and delicious. The only minor critic would be their deserts, hand-made ice-cream in small plastic cups tasted OK, but nothing special.

I was in São Paulo missing good indian food for a while, and after reading some of the reviews I decided to try the restaurant. The naan was good, the rice as well, but my dish was way too mild. Not only in the lack of any hotness on it, but also I felt like all of the spices used... More

After spending a week in sao paulo which included two visits to 'Ganesh' restaraunt in the ,Morumbi mall followed by a visit to 'Tandoor' for lunch this afternoon, I find the Tandoor experience really good. For a vegetarian who does not eat even paneer or mushrooms, finding the right food is always an arduous task. I went with trepidation to... More

Ate here following the reviews on TA and was pleasantly surprised. Set back from the road, the facade is pretty inviting and i had no hesitation in entering. I ate early on a saturday night and it was busy then - i didn't have to book but i would advise it if you're in a group or you're intending to... More

Love indian food, spices and smells. From vegetables to meat, the menu bings some samples of indian cuisine. The house is not so fancy, and the day I visited there were only a couple of brazilians working, probably not well acquaninted of aspects of indian cuisine. Anyway, food was much more mportant to me. Worth a visit!

I met a group of friends as well as the proprietors at Tandoor for dinner and enjoyed top notch food and service. The menu has all of the essentials and doesn't get too experimental. The food taste and quality rivaled the best Indian I've had in London, NYC, and Toronto. On top of it all the owners of Tandoor are... More
