In general in Latin American continent, it's difficult to find good Indian food. Tandoor provides a very good alternative. They have interesting saffron rice. Which doesn't taste amazing though. I'd strongly recommend Paneer dishes. With more spicy dishes at times they tend to find it tough balancing the tastes. One advantage that the restaurant has, is it's location. It's very... More

There aren't many Indian places in SP, but this one is worth a try. It's nice to visit the restaurant for a fresher taste, but you can also order at home. Try the Garam Tikka Masala and don't miss the naan and the paste trio.

I´m Brazilian and I have lived in England, US and Japan so I can say I have an ´international taste´ for (veggie) food. For years Tandoor has been my favourite restaurant in São Paulo, as Indian is one of my favourite cuisine. The best thing of Tandoor is that the food is authentic Indian, and there are several veggie options... More

After living two years in the curry desert of Rio, I was looking forward to a decent Indian meal in São Paulo, but Tandoor served up one of the worst I've ever had. I ordered a chicken vindaloo in the expectation of a spice attack on my taste buds. Instead the meat was tough, the sauce was bland and everything... More

I had the vegetarian plate and was completely sated at the end of the meal. The food is well prepared and well presented. Given the very rich food in Brasil, this can be a change a welcome change of pace.

This restaurant is in the center of Sao Paulo, not far from Paulista Avenue. I had a very tasty Murg Vindaloo and a beer, and my girlfriend a murg curry. It all tasted wonderful and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. We visited the place at 2 in the afternoon and it was crowded, but still plenty of tables available.... More

This iNdian restaurant feels and looks authentic - by this i mean the experience we have in England where Indian restaurants are very common. It was great to find such a place here in Sao Paulo. The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke english and portuguese. The owner is a very nice guy and made us feel very welcome.... More
