Highly recommended

I was told to arrive a few minutes before 8:30pm when they opened to try and secure a walk in table. I must have been lucky because I had no problems. A quick summary of my internal grading system: Atmosphere - Very charming. They did an impressive job of making it feel as if you are eating outside - but its all an illusion. Very nicely done. 5/5 Service - Really the most disappointing part of the evening. Every time we needed a waiter we had to essentially flag one down.... More

Just had dinner there. Location and decoration are nice, pure and fresh. Staff is extremely polite, efficient and professional. Food is opening a new area of flavors, textures and colors. I did really enjoy this discovery. Coming from europe, it was the opportunity to discover unk'own vegetables, fruits...

Mani is a small restaurant and reservations are well advised. We arrived before the restaurant opened and someone took our name and placed it on a waiting list, which got us a table in about 1hr (during which time we had drinks and some nice appetizers, transparently added to our tables tab unlike the annoying and inelegant need to settle... The food at this restaurant is outstanding, being highly creative, using local ingredients as the basis for a very imaginative menu. The service, however, was only fair: a) at no time during the meal did the waiter fill up our wine glasses b) when we ordred a second bottle of wine, instead of bringing another glass, the waiter was about... I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sao Paulo. It was my favorite! The menu features a modern twist on Brazilian cuisine. Everything was very well executed and using the best ingredients, Awesome flavor profiles

You have to book weeks ahead here - it's a Sao Paulo success story. With more restaurants of the same brand opening in Sao Paulo and elsewhere, the formula is successful. And there's the problem - it's a formula. Take exotic Brazilian ingredients, combine in unusual ways, serve in achingly chic surroundings, publicise your award-winning status in careful advertorial, and... More

The place is interesting and in some aspects minimalist, not formal. In my case, I had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The food was good and interesting. Some of the dishes were incredible, but in a overall perspective the food was good, nothing else, nothing less. The wines were excellent. Excellent quality and great labels, however the pairing... I went there for lunch with my son shortly after chef Helena Rizzo was named Veuve Clicquot 2014 World´s Best Female Chef, almost a year ago. Atmoshphere didn´t impress us much, and although we had made reservations well in advance, we were seated in the somewhat rustic, unpretentious outside area in the back. If I had a choice, maybe I... Fantastic atmosphere, attentive staff, and excellent food all added up to a great evening. For desert we had twelve scoops of ice cream shared between a table of four, flavours included cashew, guava, ginger, passion fruit, mango, and many others, a brilliant end to the night.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
