Creative contemporary Brazilian food

Fantastic atmosphere, attentive staff, and excellent food all added up to a great evening. For desert we had twelve scoops of ice cream shared between a table of four, flavours included cashew, guava, ginger, passion fruit, mango, and many others, a brilliant end to the night.

We had lunch at this restaurant to celebrate our 23th anniversary, and it was a wise choice! I've made reservations a month earlier to be safe in February. Two days before March 28th we discovered that they got their first Michelin star. When we arrived we waited a little, wile they were checking the reservation, and had fun watching the... More

I really enjoyed this experience. Great restaurant, and atmosphere, amazing to see the chefs at work in the kitchen, and just how many you need to have to produce food at this level. My favourite part of all was definitely the starter, a Waldorf salad like no other. The flavours were amazing - celery sorbet and apple jelly...brilliant. Great value... More

A superb experience. The food was perfectly balanced, original, and just basically really really good. The service was good, attentive, always present but never visible (I mean the in the best sense possible) Good wine list, but as in another couple of good Sao Paulo restaurents, I would have loved a wider choice of Brazilian wine.

This is a quite casual restaurant setting with great food. We loved the introduction of brazilian ingredients in many of otherwise contemporary dishes. Good service, good wine list. Definitively a romantic place, not a place for kids.

Read from a book that this place was worth coming to and was confirmed by a friend who's working in Sampa and has yet to try them. We didn't make a reservation and arrived there at 830pm. There was a long Q and we had some cocktails. It was lovely. The place is semi formal. Quite layback and very cosy.... More

Mani is a very well know restaurant in Sao Paulo. We were there again for a business diner. I order an Octopus and franly it has been the best I have ever eaten in my life. Just outstanding. Octopus is not easy to cook and may be hard or gelatinous. Here it was just excellent. Other people took Tuna and... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
