Good Steak, no credit cards accepted

Nice place for a steak, too crouwded on Saturdays lunch time. Nice service, the ambience is very simple. Pets allowed for the tables at the sidewalks. They don't accept credit cards. Walking distance from Consolação metro station.

Great after-hours dining - where else in Sao Paulo can you order and eat after midnight? Surprisingly, almost nowhere. But here at traditional diner Sujinho they`re open until 4:00 am. A diner for locals, for night-owls, for musicians after work, for late-night lovers. There`s a related hamburginho around the corner, but this is the real thing - Paulistano dinng. Generous... More

Sujinho is in the center of Sao Paulo on bustling Consolacao Ave. They occupy two corners of the avenue and offer impressive selections of dishes centered on cuts of meats. The pork steak that I had was juicy, tasty and big enough for 2 people with a large appetite - it actually consisted in three cuts of steak! My friend... More

Very traditional in SP. The best option is to order the "bisteca". I looks huge but when you realize ou have eaten it all. Tasty!

Went here quite late at night. We ordered the mixed grill platter for two. The meat was good quality, but overly salty. The amount of meat on the platter was just absurd. I think we're talking about 1,2 kg of different stuff for two people: sad to have to throw away so much good meat... So if you go, make... More

I have read so many positive reviews about this restaurant. As fas as I am concerned, I was a little bit disappointed, probably because I had very high expectations. Firts of all, I have not appreciated the quality of the service: the waiter was annoyed that we could not understand him (he spoke only portugese) and that we took time... More

I have dined here twice during a one week visit. The first time I have had one of the best steaks I have *ever* had, their "baby beef" menu option. The sides and salads were tasty and fresh. Service took longer than we'd hoped, despite our mention (in Portuguese) that we're in a bit of a hurry. I'm pretty sure... More

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
