Fabulous home made cakes and pastries

What a great selection of cakes, homemade biscuits and the ubiquitous cheese croissants and rolls. The pizzas however are not recommended, it's more like cheese on toast. Choose meat not cheese!! Worth a visit.

Always busy, huge filet mignon sandwiches, but desserts are too sweet. Anyway, it is worth the wait. Not too expensive, considering São Paulo's prices.

Ok, one of the best "croque monsieur" I ever had, but don't even bother with the hamburguers, they look incredible but they are not tasty at all. Also the pasta is a no no! The croissant filled with chocolate it's a must, and so are the open esfihas that you can buy warm and in various flavours around 6 p.m.... More

This place is great after partying all night long. It is open 24 hours a day so you can roll in at 3am or 5am and still get a chopp and something to eat, and not just breakfast food. Seems to always be crowded.

On Rua Haddock Lobo just off of Avenida Paulista is a padaria plus that you shouldn't miss if/when you're in Sao Paulo. We bought coconut bread, pasteis de Belem, banana cake, pao de queijo, pistachio baklava-like pastry, and candied green papaya. There's a sit-down restaurant section and a counter where customers can eat breakfast and/or sandwiches and drink coffee or... More

This restaurant / snack and pastry shop is open 24 hours and has some of the best pastries and gelato you will find in São Paulo. The restaurant section usually has a line at night so get their early if you want to dine in. Some waiters and workers speak a little English but most speak only portugese. On my... More

This place is incredible. It is a restaurant, caffee, bakery, fast food, and minimarket combination. The place Is always crowded and atmosphere is lively. You get a token at the entrance. Every item you select is registered with the number of your token. When done you can only pass the exit gate if your token shows that bill has been... More

We have visited this restaurant countless times and have never had a bad visit::)) ALWAYS open and fully staffed even at 2:00am during the week. During the evening hours and weekends you can expect a wait time from 10 min to 1 hour. Excellent place to meet friends for dinner and laughs. You can pick out a bottle of wine... More

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
