I'm Portuguese so I know what I am talking about. This is the most authentic and best Portuguese restaurant in SP. The chefs are Portuguese from Portugal, the menu is authentic, the service is very good.

It's good to go there in a large group, so you can order several small plates and try everything this restaurant has to offer. Good food and excellent service.

Tasca da Esquina is a portuguese restaurant located near Paulista Avenue in São Paulo. It has a great service and very good cuisine. If you like to be surprised, you may want to experience the "Whatever Chef decides" that will present you with some traditional portuguese dishes divided in five portions.

I was there with my wife and another Brazilian couple. They were the ones recommending it as being a Portuguese I always doubt about the authenticity of Portguese cuisine when I'm abroad. I went with my family, and all of us loved the place. On Fridays, ask for "bacalhau na nata", and you will feel in heaven ... nice place to be with the family, and the owner is allways there, taking care of the service .

Not your run-of-the-mill Portuguese restaurant. One of the best (if not the best) bacalhaus in town. The menu is truly enticing,a refreshing, modern take on Portuguese cuisine. Great selection of Portuguese wine. The service is knowledgeable, sophisticated, yet informal. Outstanding.

Chef´s choice menu for dinner was sublime. Friendly service, coupled with a nice low key atmosphere and a good red from Alentajo. My only complain would be the crappy music.

Two business colleagues and I needed a quick place to eat within walking distance of the Intercontinental Hotel in São Paulo. The hotel concierge suggested this restaurant and we're glad he did. We would have never found it on our own. Food and service was outstanding, ambiance is casual and inviting and the prices for both food and wine was... More
