This restaurant is by far the best japanese restaurant i have ever tried including the ones in japans. The best way to get to know this place is by trying the degustation menu and the kobe beef as well. Friendly staff and an open kitchen allowing the customer to watch the chefs prepare your dishes are just unique experiences.

My wife and I like sushi a lot! We went to several sushi restaurants. This restaurant is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE compared to what you get for it. I do not recommend it. Sushi quality is not premium. I liked JAM much better.

Went here last night and felt the need to post my first review. Had the 7 course tasting menu and here it is in basic. Good Location and Ambience is decent, nothing amazing Server was good Drink and cocktail was very good Dessert was good Bad I've travelled and been to some amazing restaurants, this was super poor. The quality... More

I've been there a lot times and I am still amazed on how good the Crispy Salmon Temaki is. The combination of crispy tempura, sealed salmon and trouffle make this Temaki the best one I ever tasted in my life. The downside is that it cost 35 reais each (USD 15) and you won't be ok with just one, but... More

I must tell you, by the moment you step into Kinoshita and are greeted by the whole staff shouting Japanese welcome words (irashai-mase) you start feeling that this is not going to be a typical Japanese dinner. Chefs there are really creative and only work with the freshest products at every season. The restaurant also has the biggest Sake menu... More

Of all the Japanese Restaurants, and there are many this is my favourite. My favourite dises at this restaurant. The resentation in each dish is very high end. The staff are fast and very friendly. For the best Japanese I highly recommend a visit to Kinoshita. Book in advance to secure a reservation.

Lovely (expensive) restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The 'outdoor' setting is amazing and provides a lot of privacy sometimes difficult to get in gourmet restaurants. It was our second time, and despite we felt it was slightly better first time around, then the food was still of high quality. Especially the tuna sashimi with foie gras was fantastic. The service... Kinoshita has it all, the staff is friendly, professional and gracious, the atmosphere is warm and modern, and the food is out of this world. We went for the seven dish degustation menu. It wasn't inexpensive, but worth it. If you enjoy Japanese food, i highly recommend Kinoshita.

I have been to Sao Paulo at least four times and it wasn't until the last time that we did some research and found Kinoshita. There were 3 three of us for dinner and we were seated at a table with the view of the street which wasn't bad, but realized we wanted a different location and to be apart... More
