Original pizza toppings, good service and excellent taste. Recommended if you want to try a pizza paulistana on your visit to Sao Paulo.

Oh man, I love this pizza. Highly recommend the margherita and the Catupiry cheese one, a Brazilian specialty that will cross your mind when you go back to that poor domino's or pizza hut style of pizza you got back home... This is the real deal, wonderful pizza.

Speranza is an old-established, family-style Italian eatery, locally called cantinas. Speranza has two locations, but we usually go to their older one, on Treze de Maio. Like most other cantinas in São Paulo, they are usually packed with large and loud families. If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner, go elsewhere. They must have a dozen different dining... Dont miss the margherita flavor, although simple, one of the best. We also hada tuna pizza, also great.

Amazing Bruschetta here and we had pizza which was also really good. Great service and pretty extensive wine list. Go with a big appetite!

The restaurant itself is not about chic or haute-cuisine. Large restaurant with 3 levels of sitting areas, simple ambience. But the food is the reason to come here. Here we tried absolutely one of the best Italian dishes we've ever had in our life. The restaurant apparently was founded back in 1950s and still keeps the traditions/recipes. They serve only... The best margherita pizza I've ever had (though a bit out of my travel budget). The restaurant had a nice ambience - the waiters served each slice for me! Despite me not speaking much portuguese I was able to communicate well with the staff. It is a walkable distance from Brigadeiro metro station.

For over 25 years I go to Speranza and pizza there are the best. In my opinion it´s the best in Sao Paulo. Service is good as well, the only con is that the upper part is quite noise. Go for the Tortano (bread with sausage) as entree. On weekends, be prepared to wait for the table. It´s not a... More

We arrived at Speranza based on other TA reviews and we were not disappointed! The margherita pizza recommended by other TA reviews were right on. It was one of the best pizzas we have had in Brazil. Unlike a lot of Brazilian pizza, this one had just the right amount of tomato sauce on it for the base. The service... More

On our first trip to Sao Paulo, a few years before smartphones and TripAdvisor, we somehow found this place and had a great and memorable meal. Imagine our happy surprise to follow a TA recommendation a decade later and end up at what turned out to be our long lost friend of a restaurant. We were also glad to see... More
