A genuine italian resto, despite the mood of the waiter, with lovely italian music at lunch time! We went in couples and a really great time.

This is the best cantina in Sao Paulo, in my opinion. It is located in the heart of the Italian Neighborhood and the pasta and beef are just delicious. The dishes are normally big enough to share, so the price is not expensive at all.

I loved the old-style Italian feel, with all the photos of il padrone with Brazilian celebrities. The service was great, with a very large and chaotic group looked after well. I had an excellent capirinha (though I'm no expert). The food was mixed - very good salad, pasta a little over-cooked, with average sauces. Generous portions though. I can't comment... More

It's a well known Italian restaurant in Sao Paulo. I went there after a couple of years. I ate a fettutine pasta with bolonhese (meat and tomato) souce. The pasta wasn't "al dente" and the sauce was less than I could imagine. The dish was expansive related the quality.

The age-old question in a neighborhood filled with Italian restaurants is how to choose a good one. Well, you probably can’t go wrong with a place that has locals and regulars streaming in and out like Cantina Roperto. Inside is a bit of a time warp (the entrance is lined with photos of the owner with famous customers, live musicians... More

This restaurant is in the Italian neighborhood, Bixiga of Sao Paulo. Reminded me of New Jersey ( I don't know why) as I entered the restaurant. We had booked a big table for a large group. The food is a little pricey and nothing to write home about.. Some of us had pasta and some eggplant parmesian.. like in other... More

It is located at the old Italian neighborhood in São Paulo but it doesn't serve genuine Italian food. High prices for normal or poor quality dishes. Avoid going there and save your money for other restaurants in Sao Paulo.

Charging +50 Reais for raviolis that tasted as if they were coming directly from a tin is just ridiculous. Service was efficient, but not polite at all. The place was very noisy and not very clean.

Quiet, reasonable prices, great food... maybe too quiet, but if you are in a family mood, it's perfect...

Traditional restaurant specialized in italian cuisine, with a extended menu of pastas, beefs, lamb, seafood and a great chart of wines. The satff work in this place for 30/40 years and treat the client as their family. The prices are corret for the quality of food and most of pastas are for 2 or 3 people,
