It is a very nice restaurant. Although the fried teppan is a success, I like the sushi at the sushi room facing the Japanese garden. The sea weed is always crispy and the fish fresh. Great place.

The restaurant had a very traditional feel and a number of separate rooms depending on your dining preference. There was also a nice cocktail lounge where we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. The food was excellent as was the service. Will certainly go back again.

This is an attractive venue with several rooms and including some privite dining areas. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered a variety of rolls and sushi selections. All were competently prepared and of good quality but lacked the zing of really great sushi. In all, it was a decent experience but not one I would rush to repeat.... More

After discovering Shintori was close by to where I was staying I couldn't ignore to stop by one night. The decor was mostly traditional japanese but nothing special and a bit dated. I ordered one of the chefs suggestions off the menu for 79 reais and was brought a plate of small main courses (sushi, tempura, miso, salad). It was... More

Went there expecting something exceptional, and indeed it was! Just under 100 Reais for the executive lunch (I took the option 1) + a small bottle of hot sake. Amazing. I will definitely come back.

Took my son for his 16th birthday (loves Japanese food)! He was very impressed and happy with the dinner at such a great fun, diverse, and excellent restaurant! Chef Ronaldo plays a little samba while cooking at your restaurant and takes great care of his client! Big servings - so ask for less portions and add on if you feel... More

You might have good experiences in other Japanese restaurant on food or style but this one is a good mix between both. It's a fancy place with a huge and beautiful Japanese garden. It's expensive in comparison other restaurants of same level but you'll not regret to expend a little more on it. They accept reserves, so on weekends and... More

I really like this restaurant. It used be a restaurant called Suntory and the name changed but the quality continues to be the same. Excellent options from such, sashimi or Tempura. Great atmosphere, authentic and very relaxed. Very good for business meetings.

The food was ok, but not great. The chef was a bit boring and not in the mood to entertain. The service was terrible. The waiter looked so off and he did not smile once. Also spilled drinks and charged extra. Overall not worth it as it is also a bit pricey.
