Shintori is such a beautiful place....it's like your in Japan! the garden is amazing! So I had the grilled food and I was a bit disappointed. It was good...but not worth R$ 300,00 at all. The highlight was my husband's Kobe beef - wow wow! So good! Staff are very friendly too!

Beautifully decorated with lots of windows facing a delightful garden. My family goes to this restaurant for over 30 years. It's the best place to eat sukiyaki in town. Food prices are ok, but the wine list is quite expensive.

I'm not sure about the high reviews. Yes, the restaurant is nicely decorated but I thought the food was normal. It's a shame that the staff didn't speak a little more English, that way there would have been less misunderstandings.

The atmosphere is nice and quiet with 2 dining rooms and the garden, the staff is perfect. I was a bit disappointed by the grilled food: it was great but I expected new flavors, less greasy meal and more of a culinary trip. Still, it was a delightful moment.

Was really good! First I eat the sushi and it was awesome, then I tried the grill style and it was amazing! The flying knifes style stuff and the food were perfect! The staff also is amazing! Great place!

At 60 Rei we had a full blown mixed tepenyaki meal with a great chef who performed all sorts of tricks with the food and even let us try some too. Ooops! Highly recommended for a lunchtime visit. Great staff all round.

It is a very nice restaurant. Although the fried teppan is a success, I like the sushi at the sushi room facing the Japanese garden. The sea weed is always crispy and the fish fresh. Great place.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
