By introducing a unique and innovative experience, desd and its opening in June 2001, has earned a reputation as the best and most luxurious hotel in Sao Paulo, the fifth largest city in the world and cultural and artistic center of South America. Went yesterday with another couple. Our food, in general, was very good. However, one of the main dishes (tuna) was returned to the kitchen twice, as it wasn't tasting right. The server simply took the plate away and DID NOT offer anything else! What a joke... There are much better options in Sao Paulo, such as the Fasano, which is... More

Went here to celebrate by partner's birthday while we were in Sao Paulo. It was a Monday night, so the restaurant was slow, but that was great for us. We received very personalized service. We had the tasting menu with wine pairings. Prices were very reasonable, especially when compare to comparable restaurants in San Francisco or New York.

I lunched at Emiliano a few months ago and again this week (August 2014). It's atmosphere is always pleasant if you enjoy a quiet, clean, almost contemplative place. They have a vertical garden which is really beautiful. In the past I would say that this is probably one of the best high class Italian restaurants in São Paulo. But today... More

The food was great, the atmosphere was too, but what surprised me was the service. We were treated like kings, offered a lot of freebies and stuff I haven't seen even in movies. Would recommend to anyone visiting Sao Paulo

Big fan of Emiliano restaurant and I was a little bit concerned with their recentr change in the kitchen. New chef brought some new itens in the menu and it was (again) a great experience. It is indeed a little pricy but food is great. There is no fee if you want to bring your own special wine. So this... More

My husband and I wanted to splurge, as we were celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and a number of friends suggested the Sunday Brunch at Emiliano. Their concept is somewhat different from the "traditional" brunch: buffet, 50+ dishes, etc... They have an a-la-carte menu from which you can choose as many dishes as you want, as often as you want.... More
