Buffet style restaurant with grilled meats

Great place if with a group who all like something different. Large salad selection. Cold meats fish etc. All buffet help yourself style. There is a grilled meats section too. Great desert selection too. Wine is reasonable. The restaurant is not fancy. Average but great value for money.

i have eaten at Bovinus many times. If you want a great atmosphere & fine food then look elsewhere. However, if you have never tried a Churascaria & are a little daunted by the waiters lining up at your table with various cuts of meat on skewers then give Bovinus a try. They don't serve you at your table with... More

Amazing restaurant for those who is first time in Brazil! Buffet was great with a lot of choice, but most delicious is a meat every cut of beef being serve to you by the waiter on the skewer! The quality of meat is the best, and price is not that expensive for that experience ! Would definitely recommend to every... More

Cannot compare to others but I thought it was good. Price seemed a bit high but they did have free transportation to and from the hotel which helps with cost. Meats were delicious! Salad bar was very good. Desserts were great! Lack of English speakers is a bother. Additional charges for basic drinks (soda, sparkling water) was annoying but maybe... More

It may not be the best churrascuria in São Paulo but it's consistently good. It's a place where you can walk in on your own and just eat and enjoy or you can go in a large group. The staff are very friendly and it's non-inhibitive here which I like. You won't get the biggest choice of cuts of meat... More

THE GOOD: Great price Good meat Decent service Desert is included. THE BAD: Limited buffet, although probably big enough for most Decor is a bit drab Having to get up every time to go to the grill to get meat Service could be a bit more attentive but was decent enough Lack of english spoken was difficult when ordering meat,... We visited this restaurant 5 times this month - each time for lunch. There is a reason we kept going back. The food is great, the restaurant is very clean and some of the items on the buffet change daily. We rate this Bovinus as "best value churascaria" in Sao Paulo because it has a terrific combination of taste, selection,... More

There are several named churascaria restaurants in Sao Paulo, I ended up in this one with some coleagues. We where a group of 8 and got a nice tabel. Service was very good and fast. Drinks and saladbar where OK, but the main attraction is the meat. Well I must say the quality was impressive. Good meat, well cooked nicely... More

Good was good. Large buffet with good variety of meats, vegetables and prepared dishes. Need to tell chef at the grill exactly how you want your meat or you'll wind up with a over cooked piece. Deserts were excellent and the fruit was fresh. Price was reasonable for a buffet. Waite staff was very attentive.

As the prices for food in Sao Paulo went up, por quilo restaurants are offering "cheaper options" but this restaurant did not follow this direction. You will pay little more but you will get complete selection of meat cuts and great selection of salads.

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
