Funny place!

Had a seafood sequence. Very large and really good. The garlic shrimps definitely a favorite! The story is really cool, although the mouldy notes are a little unappealing when eating. But a cool experience. And the beach absolutely incredible if you are looking for calm sea and a small... read more

In an exclusive beach, you will find a restaurant with thousands of notes all over its walls. Those notes is from people like you that lived a message and hanged it on their preferred place. Great view to the beach and sea.

3 days of trying food in different restaurants on the island and finally found a good one :) Nice stuff who do not speak English but have a menu in different languages Portuguese, French and English maybe also other ones but I didn't see it. My friend ordered food for 30 R$ and she could eat whatever she wanted from... More

Located in one of the nicest places of the Florianopolis Island, whats really special about this place are the hundreds (or maybe thousands) of paper leaflets that decorate the place and have left there by visitors over the decades this place has been open.

Located in a fishing village where you can see actual fishing boats moored outside. Those boats provide the fish, shrimps served in the restaurant. As such the sea food is of a high quality and simply delicious. We had the shrimp fried in olive oil and garlic, grouper baked with capers, green peppers, onions and tomatoes and crab cakes. Delicious!... More

The south of the island of Santa Catarina has been called by many the "Soul of the Island." One reason for this enchantment is the Arante Bar, which is already part of the natural beauty of Florianópolis, meets tradition (over 50 years), good food and friendly atmosphere with a local flavor. In addition to the varied menu of seafood (plus... More

The place is in a nice spot ( as most beach restaurants in Florianopolis). The decoration is somehow original but a bit dodgy with so many old dirty paper notes. The price is monopolistic. The food....mmm my wife refused to write down a note because she would not have left a nice message...

A really unique and special place. We came in late on a rainy and fierce Sunday afternoon and gorged on the amazing buffet. We were overwhelmed by the quality and abundance of seafood on offer. Staff are very friendly, helpful and even speak a little English! Great spot overlooking the bay. The story of the restaurant and the culture of... More

Well, this is a traditional restaurant that exists for many years in "Floripa". It's simple but the atmosphere and the food are marvelous ! It's quite far from downtown ( almost 30 Km ) in Pantano do Sul but the way to get there is plenty of beautiful views. You can get a bus if you want.

The seafood is amazing, caiparinhas cachasa-y, and the views are spectacular, being right at the beach. The most unique and interesting thing about this restaurant is the fact that everyone who goes there leaves their mark on a piece of paper which is then stuck to almost any surface where there's a spot! Back in 2003 there were a lot... More
