Excellent! Not to be missed.

A traditional and cozy place to go. Honest food and prices. The location isn't the best to go by public transport, however easily accessible by taxi or car. The fried "polenta" is amazing! Absolutely not to be missed!

Komka is a good option for those avoiding the "all you can eat" churrascarias. At Komka instead of having a waiter offering you food every2 minutes, you order salads and beef cuts straight from the menu. Food is good, service is fast and friendly. They prepare local deserts like Sagu. The restaurant facilities are quite simpli. This is not a... More

It seems and old fashioned eastern european restaurant but don´t get impressed by their looks. In fact, this tradicional place´s got a great food for very affordable prices. The service it´s nice and fast, and you must consider their barbecue, especially the xixos (beaf or pork with sliced tomatoes and onions in a barbecue spit). You may see many families... More

All right, you go to KOMKA for eating meat, but you'll be surprised about the artisanal beers selection they offers. You should really try some. And the desert is also great. Mind that this is not an all you can eat meat restaurant. And it is also pretty pricey and crowded.

If you want to eat great delicious beef don't skip this old fashioned restaurant. It's very affordable and there is no decrease in quality.

This is a very discret restaurant. There is nothing really fancy here, no frills. And that is it's secret! With a relative simple menu, they stick to the basic and make it good. During my visit, we noted lots of elders around. And this is a reference to what tradition means. Well priced, we had polenta, melted provolone cheese, and,... More

I went recently for the 2nd time this year. I had chicken the first time which was cooked to perfection but this time i had the fillet steak which was incredible. I could have had it twice. Two at our table had skewers which were huge and looked amazing but be careful with the Caipirinha's. They are very very very... More

We walked an hour to get here and it was so worth it! We had the fried polenta, 1 churrasco stick that was a mix of lamb, beef, pork and chicken and a the beef with an over easy egg and fries and 2 cocktail. It was all great. This was my husbands favorite meal. The prices were great 2.... More

Locals fight for it, so you get there at noon or be prepared to wait. Garlic bread, spicy sausage, or fried polentas shaped as French fries and cover with parmesan are a perfect companion to your beer or caipirnha. It is meat place that you can count on, cuts of your choice, salads are amazing and you can make whatever... More

Went to Komka based on other reviews. A little difficult to find but worth it. One downside was the staff did not speak English but we made do. Received a menu in English but didn't have prices so we asked for the Portuguese menu and worked it out. Having arrived at opening time of 1915 didn't know what to expect.... More
