Is from Uruguay?” He candidly answered: “You know, we are in trouble to get a good meat.” Very much so! The picaña... More

Our Brazilian friends took us to Fazenda Barbanegra, telling us it was the best in town. We believe them. Starting with the thinly sliced sausage appetizers through the side dishes and of course the wonderful steaks, we enjoyed every dish. Roberto, who grills the meats told me his family started the business when they still owned the ranch that supplied... More

I was there with friends for lunch. Indeed the meat was very good and the service was also very nice. I liked the cozy atmosphere, the restaurante is not very big. My friends had wine and they said the selection they have is good and prices are affordable. What I didn't like was the side dishes and entrances. They were... More

Fazneda Barbanegra is what one strives to find when traveling to different cities around the world. The restaurant is a Argentine Parilla style steak house with fine meats. The extrecot is outstanding and presented on a hotel charcoal box. The sausages are a must for a starter. The limn rice and potatoes with cheese and spinach are also a must to... More

This is the best parrila house in this city! Excellent food and service, simple and cinfortable place, good service. Asking for "assado de tira" or "entrecot" if you want good meat, but don't forget delicious limon rice! Deserts are delicious, mainly pudim and ambrosia. Perfect!

Fazenda Barbanegra is an excellent restaurant, whose main proposal is to offer the traditional cuts of meat that make part of the Parrilla, a traditional Argentinean and Uruguayan dish. The difference among others Parrilla houses is the intention to serve more select cuts of meat , as well as giving a more personalized service. It's a relatively small restaurant, a... More
