Nice atmosphere

Very nice and cozy restaurant. The food is quite good, although misses a bit of personality. Good wine list. Don`t miss the chanclich and mjadra.

This a traditional middle eastern restaurant in porto Alegre but on the last couple of years they lost their family owned style and are looking more a big chain with frozen food then a cozy restaurant . The service it's bad and it has always been , so expect to make and extra effort to get good service. The food... More

We were there with a guy from Palestine and it was a really good chance to learn a lot from his cuisine. You can pay a moderate price (around RS$50) to have a kind of "each as much as you can" and you will be able to try the most of the classical arabic food, like kafta, breads, falafel, sfiha,... The food is fresh and there are many options from the Lebanese cuisine. On lunch time, it is always pleasant, not too busy and fast. There is a rodada (eat as much as you can) or a set menu for a good value (you coose 3 our tof 9 options), but I use to choose meals from the menu. My... More

Al Nur was ok but on the bland side. There is no English menu but if you know middle eastern cuisines you will be able to make out the items you can eat. The food was ok but again on the bland side. The wait staff was very nice and the decor was nice. Not much else to report.

I go to AlNur for lunch at least once a week. The food is tasty, fresh and authentic. I do not go for the "rodada", because it is a lot of food for lunch. Instead, I order special dishes on the menu such as Risoto Arabe and Fatouch salad. It is a nice environment, good and efficient service and afordable.

Al nur serves top notch Arabic dishes from kibbeh to sfiha to hummus, naan, Arabic coffee (which is really good)! The restaurant also great service. The "a la carte buffet" is R33 or you can get individual dishes for around R12. The buffet is good for 2 people to split. Free wifi is a plus! I recommend the kibe cru... More

The house special is a sequence of lebanese dishes, from cold starters to hot dishes. The food is excellent, everything freshly prepared, and it tastes the real thing. It is very good price, they have a good selection of beers - including the standard mass market and a few specialist brews. You can, of course, order individual dishes from the... More
