Rodizio with gaucho show

Very good rodizio, all you can eat, of meats and salads, with gaucho live music dance and acrobatics show. Touristy but near the city center. I believe it is a bargain at US$30 plus drinks.

Well, there you go with the best meat ever. True, pricey. But quality is guarantee. Just do not eat everything they propose you. Leave the cheese, bread, and pork behind and go ahead with picanha, vazio, and entrecôte. The latter is superb!

Food and show mediocre, service average , price is high for what you get in exchange - Highly say DON'T waste your time and money.

This was my very first lunch in Porto Alegre. My Brazilian friends took me there to experience traditional food and see some performance. I was well entertain and food was very good. This place is aimed mainly at tourists but you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant gave us a great taste of the local cuisine. It was a nice way to end our trip to Port Alegre. Even though the show was a little tacky, it filled the bill for us tourists. There are cheaper restaurants in town, but this one gave us a memorable time - we even got photos with the performers!

I went with a couple of friends in June, during world cup. The atmosphere is good as you feel you are in a big country estancia, the quality of the meat consumed was hit and miss a bit, however there was large quantities and alternatives to choose from. The service was good but not exceptional. The range of wines and... More

Taken by residents of Porto Alegre to this barn of a restaurant. The show was an unexpected bonus, whilst not true gaucho it was very entertaining. The salad bar was extensive and the meat not so because of its high quality. The Picanha I had was the best meat of its type, in terms of taste and tenderness, that I... More

The restaurant promises an exceptional experience on the traditions of Rio Grande do Sul and an outstanding barbacue. Wellll...none of those were adequate. The show is not really very good. I have seem gaucho's performance and dance far better than these. And the barbacue (churrasco) is very limited in the types of cuts available and also on its quality! The... More

This place had it all! Good Churrasco food, excellent ambience, interesting local dancing and a Gaucho who swung his boleadoras above his head and by his body in dizzying style. The long barn-like building had shops at the entrance where tourist items could be bought, and Mate tea sampled. A good afternoon's meal and entertainment.

Well, I spent some time working in Porto Alegre so I got to know the "headquarters" of every single churrascaria I already ate in Sao Paulo. To my great deception, Fogo de Chao's in Porto Alegre is quite bad, specially the buffet with nothing to choose. I tried something typical from the region... Galpao Crioulo and it was great! Really... More
