The atmosphere is very intimate and the staff is wonderful. All previous reviews are correct when describing the pumpkin soup and the parmasian cod! A wonderful experience in a secluded area!

A fishing guide friend in Alpine, just south of Jackson Hole, shared that this was THE best place to eat in Alpine. And really, this intimate dining room would prosper in Jackson as well... Owned and staffed by the founders for thirty years this place has excellent food and delightful service. Rutha, our server, has home based in Alpine throughout... More

Truly an amazing meal. I had the Parmesan cod. The pumpkin soup was absolutely wonderful. The hint of curry in it is fantastic. The service is excellent. The food is amazing. And the adjoining hotel is adorable. A great little place all together!

If you're in Alpine during the dinner hour - check this out. If the weather is pleasant, dine on the patio. The menu is limited, but good. The waitstaff if friendly and accommodating. This is a great place to unwind, enjoy your table mates' company, and absorb some clean, fresh air. The pumpkin soup (served with every entree) is yummy.... More

So happy we tried the pumpkin soup- what a delight!!! Salads were fresh and delicious. We tried the cod and I would highly recommend it. The owners and staff were very nice. We also ate breakfast there and again great food....be sure to get the potatoes.

You will never find a better more delicious pumpkin soup ANYWHERE served with each dinner, along with warm french bread! I had their house specialty, melt in your mouth...Parmesan Cod...rich, fresh and so tasty! It came with wonderful wild rice and fresh melon. The restaurant was so popular and busy we ate inside at the quaint bar. The owner/bartender Michael... More

Very basic, tasty food with one big alarm. The mashed potatoes are instant. UGH!!! The pumpkin was delicious, however. Since there aren't a lot of choices in Alpine, it's pretty good.

They are a local favorite and no summer visit to the area is complete without their claim to fame: the cod parmesan. Bar is also nice place to hang out and get a hamburger.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. Worthy of a special trip for a meal. We had a dinner on the patio and a breakfast inside the next morning as we were staying in the adjacent Nordic Inn. The pumpkin soup at dinner was the best I have ever had. I couldn't pry the recipe loose, but there was a seasoning in it that... More

While visiting family in Alpine, I stayed at The Nordic Inn. My relatives who live there boasted about the great food at Brenthoven's, so I made a reservation for the 6 of us. We were seated at a roomy table out on the patio. Service was impeccable, as was the weather. We had plenty of space (I dislike crowded tables),... More
