I happened upon Casa de Taipa with a Brazilian friend, and I am so glad I did. Tapioca and cuzcuz, regional dishes that were wonderful -- and the caipirinha was excellent, too. Beautiful atmosphere, great service.

The place has a great decoration, so cozy and typical of northeast Brazil!. Food was delicious, only tapiocas, but stuffed with different things! Try the ones with cane do sol and nata as well as quiejo coalho and côco. They're great!!!! Caipirinha of cashew is just excellent!!

I really enjoyed this place. It was a bit expensive but the service, food and drinks (especially the pineapple capifruta) were delish. If you're looking for the local taste of "tapiocas" (pastry made of yuca flour and filling of choice), this is THE place to visit! interesting, low key atmospehre, good service and a great selection of tapiocas merge into a very interesting experience.

We appreciated the food and the polite waiters. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this restaurant in Natal, maybe you need to wait a little bit during dinner but it is really worthy.

The wait staff here was very attentive and helpful. Also, the atmosphere is great: local artwork, lots of plants, unique tableware, and sandy floors. The food is also tasty and reasonably priced.

My favorite is the "carne de sol com catupiry cheese" I can't wait go there again soon! I find it on the pricey side though but I guess you gotta pay for quality food!

Had dinner here while staying a week near Ponte Negra. Good food, great atmosphere and as luck would have it the waiter spoke English.
