We went there last Saturday to have dinner. A group of three couples plus a baby-boy. The bill total was R$1100 for a very bad dinner. Meat was tasteless, salad bar had nothing special about it, not even the french fries were good. Expensive wine list. Not to mention that the place smelled odd. Service was friendly and I believe... The Porcao chain is one of the reasons why Brazilian barbecue conquered it's world famous recognition. But in recent years, the restaurant chain faced a lot of changes in its' ownership structure, and the service, and the overall quality of the restaurants is clearly, and dangerously, declining. And it's not different with the Porcao Rios, that used to be an... More

We love Porcão and love taking friends there to taste delicious food and also enjoy the view. We went back recently and it was somewhat of a disappointment, the veggie buffet wasn't very varied (as before) and when they brought the sidedishes to the table, the farofa (which is something super special and typical everyone has to try) tasted like... I love Brazilian steakhouses and this one is my number two favourite! The salad bar is fresh and well kept. So many things to choose from but don't over do the salad because you need all the room you have for the grilled meat. Totally recommend this place if you are in Rio and want to enjoy a true Brazilian... More

Authentic great Meat spot. Hidden in a secondary street in Ipanema area this would deliver you some of the best, rodizio style, meat cuts you'll have in you life.

It need to be added on must see list of Rio de Janeiro. Remember to go there really hungry and give a mix of tasting of all the amazing meet pork sushi cheese... etc It is more expensive than average price in Rio de janeiro but it can not be missed.

Classic meat 'rodizio': free flow salad buffet + loads of different meets coming to your table! The salad buffet quality fine, but don't get too much as you need to leave space for the really important part of the meal: the picanha! Try to avoid chicken, livers and that short of things. Focus in the real meat. It is worth!
