Highly recommended octopus was off - waiter took it back and didn't charge without blinking.....Moqueca - I've had better lets say "everywhere" - not going back. It's a shame because there are so few all seafood restaurants in Rio.

The Sobrenatural is a very good seafood restaurant. Service is good and friendly. The restaurant is located in the charming Santa Teresa, where you can find restaurants and clubs and small shops with handicraft.

Lovely restaurant with really nice and tranquil atmosphere, a place I can recommend to everybody. The house specialty is sea food served in different forms from the Brazilian cuisine. My favorite is the "Bobó de camarão" (shrimp bobó), which is a dish of shrimps in a purée of manioc, coconut milk and other ingredients. one serving is enough for 2... More

We ate lunch here one day during the World Cup. We arrived when restaurant opened, so no need for a reservation as there wasn't a line. By the time we left, numerous people were waiting for tables. Food, service and atmosphere were excellent. We ordered two of the dishes for two (one fish and one filet mignon). Everyone enjoyed their... More

Went here for a dinner with friends during the World Cup. We made no reservations and just showed up, but estaurant was not full at all, so no problem. The menu is overwhelmingly fish, although a filet mignon and a chicken dish can be ordered as well. Most dishes are for two (due to the size of the fish), but... More

Find our way here on a rainy April night and had the pleasure of tasting some really good seafood. The Moqueca is marvelous.

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to discover the specialties of this well known restaurant in Rio. I liked the interior, the atmosphere...and I can recommend the spaghetti with sea food. But it was a big mistake to order a fish with coconut sauce, broccoli rice, baroa potatoes and bananas. The waiter served a raw fish at first,... More

We ordered fish with green rice and banana in a coconut sauce with Brazil nuts with two Bohemian beers and very nice it was too. We were early so it was quiet and cool, but as others came in the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. It was very close to our hotel so just a quick trot up the road... More

We stopped for a snack and ordered manioc, broccoli with garlic and yummy juice drinks. Menu looked interesting and atmosphere was interesting even if we were in a hot corner next to a cold drinks frig.
