Great place for lunch or early dinner

We discovered this delightful little cafe/restaurant on our first day and returned 3/4 times. They do a quiche/salad combo which is fantastic value for money (the green salad and Caesar salad are both great options). Check out the quiche of the day first but if not to your taste, can't go far wrong... read more

We visited another location near business centre. All people from banks went there! Short line-up - but it's worth it! Great palm-heart/brie and quinoa salads, black bean soup, quiche and amazing green fresh juices! Best place in Rio on a budget!

While waiting for a table to become available, we ordered a bottled of sparking wine. It wasn't available. Then we chose another one: sold out. Then another one... Nothing. We ended up having the only one available. Silverware was dirty and waiter did not seem to care. I had to change them myself, getting a set from another table. Appetizers... More

This place offers a good combination of good food and value...all three of us had salted steak with crazy rice (delicious signature dish of rice, bacon etc) and salads. everythjng was beautifully prepared. The service was a bit lazy and the cocktails poorly made but, overall,it was a great night out in a good venue offering food value for money.

It's a traditional and well known restaurant chain at Rio. this unit is located in a big house with external area tables, really close to the beach. But in summer, one would rather stay in the internal saloon because of the air conditioned. They serve good salads, pies and grilled food. it's a simple, light but tasteful food. the only... More

This restaurant was a few blocks from where my family and I stayed. We passed by a bunch of times and decided to try it out during our last night in Rio. I had the tenderloin steak with the noisette (fried mashed potato balls) which I enjoyed a little too much, ended up ordering more of those. But the star... More

Have been to this place a few times and always am irritated by the lackadaisical service. Waiters are ill trained and seem spaced out. Food is reasonable and the price is acceptable.

Everything you need to have a delicious meal in Rio. The portions are ample and by Rio standards generous for the price. Steak, seafood, pasta, salads and cocktails are all delicious. I love the simplicity, it's like being in someone's home that is very neat. Just go and enjoy a relaxed meal.

We got there and it looked like a former home. The first room had white plastic tables and plastic chairs. The next room was nicer, with mismatched furniture. We sat down and they brought menus in English which was nice. The menu had many appetizers, many salads, and limited entrees. We waited and waited to order. At one point 3... More
