Stopped by hear while staying in Rio. The food was excellent and made a nice change from the usual Brazilian restaurants. Galletes are fantastic as were the Crepes for desert. But I suggest getting there early as there can be a long queue at the door. Still don't get the concept of drinking Cider out of a teacup! But at... More

I absolutely love this concept! Have tried several of their Special crepes - and they are all fantastic! Good service as well and not too expensive.

What an amazing place. We went here on the first night of our vacation and I wish we would have saved it for last. All four of us ordered different galettes and all four were delicious. The group agreed the best was Gorgonzola/filet galette. And if that wasn't enough, we ordered The Dessert. Whiskey soaked flaming chocolate crepe. We talked... More

My husband took me to this little cute bistro for a romantic dinner. The ambiance was nice...a little too dark though. The galletes really didn't let us down. Crispy and exciting. There are many toppings to choose from. I chose a mushroom galette while my husband chose the one with prosciutto. His was definitely better than mine. It had more... More

As a French, I was curious to see what a creperie would look and taste like in Rio. No disappoitment for me, cider comes from Britanny, like plates and cups. Crepes are big and generous. Some recepices are quite original compared to a French creperie but this is part of the charm of the place. Booking is mandatory as the... More

If you just have to have crepes while in Rio, then go to Le Ble Noir. Otherwise, I would wait until you go to Belgium, France, or even French Canada for better crepes at better prices.

Romantic atmosphere, cozy little place, good variety of fancy crepes. It's worth every penny, even being quite pricey. The ambience makes half your stay and the amazing crepe the other half. A must go in Rio!! It gets very busy, be patient cause you gonna have to wait

Le Ble Noir is a casual restaurant in Copacabana, popular with locals and tourists. Depending on your arrival time, be prepared to wait in line. It is worth waiting: the crepes they serve are very good - not cheap, but delicious.Try them with cider: a great combination. On the down side, the place is small and its decor is simple... More

Don't be shocked by the price of a galette (crepe). High but worth the visit. It comes on a large plate - half salad (Brasilian lettuce is soooo limp) nicely dressed and half galette. It can be a struggle to finish. The decor is lovely, service attentive. Arrive early, the place was filled ten minutes after opening at 7:30. Great... More
