Muita satisfação

I go to Zaza all the time, cause I live in Rio, but I already took friends from France, England and NY, including a chef and owner of 4 restaurants in NY and it's the only place everybody is very satisfied, with food, drinks and deserts. I'm happy to have a Zaza Bistrô in Rio.

The "lamb spheres" are delicious (should have asked just those instead of the warm appetizers platter), as is the triple lime caipirinha. The main dish (fish) was just ok, but my wife loved her veggie moqueca (dish of the day).

I have been to zaza bistrot several times. The food is great, nice different brazilian recipes, location is perfect and the lightining is nice - this is always an important issue to me. There was just one time that i saw a bug in my table but the manager was so upset and nice, that he made the incident better.

Stopped by this place after eating at a number of others in the area. Loved the unusual decor and style of the place, and the food was simply superb. The food took time but this gave us enough time to enjoy a delightful wine from Uruguay. I will be going back, probably many times!

Really enjoyed a special dinner on the balcony here on a Friday night. The food was modern but was definitely based on the wonderful Brazilian tastes and flavours. It isn't cheap by any means but it was a memorable meal in great surroundings. Recommend to make a reservation at least the day before.

Zaza: a combination of a tropical ambiance in the heart of Ipanema, good food and even an proper wine-list, which is rather rare in Rio. The service was not as good as the food though. Reservation is recommended (be sure to get a seat on the veranda outside).

We took a chance and went to Zaza without a reservation and got a table. The place was full so we were lucky. The service was good and the food was really innovative and tasty. They also have a proper winelist. It is a bit expensive but on the other hand so are many of Rios restaurants. I can recommend... More

Great drink menu. Loved the salmon tartare appetizer and my entree (some kind of fish, can't remember) but my husband thought his entree was kind of boring. I'd still recommend it! More locals than tourists.

Horrible service. Staff did not offered wine menu and forced us to sit upstairs, a place place poorly ventilated with bizarre decor. Tables were discomfortable. Appetizers were ok. Beer was not cold. Cocktail was decent. Main dish terrible. It is not worth your time and money. Rio has much more to offer.
