Some of the best Sushi in Town

Great stop for Sushi in the best neighborhood of Rio. Sushi Leblon is a very elegant and and personal restaurant with great fresh choices from some of the best fish in Rio. The dishes may average about $25 or more person, but worth the cost. I ordered the variety sushi plate which was a great... read more

Sushi Leblon ranks as one of my favourite sushis in Brazil. The dishes are amazing, high quality and very well thought. I've been there several times since it opened, but last time I realised that they are not as good as they used to be: the service falls on the slow side (45 minutes for an order to arrive) and... Really enjoyed this restaurant. The fish was super fresh and they had some interesting, unique dishes. We ate here twice during our stay of five nights, it was definitely our favorite restaurant. Don't get intimidated if you see a line, they will take your name and you can go across the street for a drink!

The sushi was really excellent, and the vibe is very chic and fun. The only complaint I have is the reservation/communication style. We went on a Sunday, and had tried to make a reservation (as I'd read all of the reviews about how packed it is). However, when I called, and the hotel desk called, they said both times that... This is a great sushi restaurant- hands down. Fresh food, modern environment, good service. It honestly surprises me that it isn't more highly ranked.

Sushi is ok. Nothing comparing to sushi restaurants in USA. Manager is rude and even though there are plenty of empty tables he denies to accommodate you according to your request. I would suggest Manekineco for sushi while in Rio.

Only go there if you are local, speak fluently portuguese, and do not mind staff being rude and showing off... Although the food wasn't bad, it is quite overpriced, even for the Leblon area of Rio. But the attitude of the waiters and other show-off diners ruin the whole experience...

We were desperate to have some Japanese after two and half weeks of jungle adventure and lots of Brazilian churrascaria. I was surprised to find this chic sushi restaurant with really good quality fish. The chefs are not Japanese and don't speak English or Japanese but their working ethic are defiantly Japanese. Disciplined on how the sashimi should be prepared,... More

I absolutely love sushi so whenever I travel I always try to visit a Sushi place and I can safely say that this is the best Sushi I ever had except for the one in Tokyo next to the fish market. It is pricy but worth every penny. The setting is amazing, the service is top notch and the food... More
