Went there twice during the World Cup and the unbelievable queues of locals explains the popularity of this place! Pizzas were fantastic!

Overpriced. About 40 USD per person for a less than average pizza. They claim DOC, but I highly doubt it given the quality of the ingredients and crust. A soggy, floppy piece of bread. I felt cheated. Not recommended.

We have ordered pizza at Capricciosa IPANEMA twice and we will never do it again. Las time we odered it costed R$ 86,00 and the pizza arrived completly destroyed. Te first time it took more then 1h30min. The worst of all is that they alway blamed the delivery guy and never tried to compensate us. If you charge so much... More

When you stay more than one week in Rio, you need to find something alternative to the churrasco and the galetos. Sushi can be an option, but also the idea to eat a good pizza can become a viable option. Before going to Pizza Capricciosa, every time I tried to eat pizza or pasta in Rio I was always disappointed.... More

Ate dinner here on a SUN evening. 1 drink, 3 waters, 1 bruschetta bar selection. And a large pizza with prosciutto on it. Pizza was great - thin crust , brick oven baked. Hit the spot after a day of sightseeing. Cost for 3 was $R 121, or ~ $51.

As a big fan of pizzas, I can definitely recommend this place. Well stocked and large pizzas are the order of the day.

Why would you order a pizza while in Brazil with so much great local food.... Well if you do, the only place is capricciosa. The service was a bit slow but the food made up for it... A good wine list. Didn't use the toilet but the place was clean. Accept major credit cards... A let down they didn't have... More

It's tough to find good pizza in Brazil, let me throw that out. I ordered delivery from Capricciosa, a small Diavola (spicy pepperoni) for R$63. It was decent, nothing spectacular. For the money ($30) you'd expect more.

The pizza options were too large and too expensive for somebody dining alone. Service was good though.

Sorry, went there with my partner for dinner a couple of nights ago, unfortunately we were really disappointed. The only thing they seemed to get right with the pizzas was the thin base, the toppings were basically 5cm thick with cheese, maybe this is how they do pizzas in Brazil but good pizzas I have tasted use cheese almost as...
