Supposedly this is one of the best 100 restaurants in Rio according to Tripadvisor. The decor is quite poor (looks like a US diner from the fifties). We had two siri (crab) soups, which were very good. Then we ordered sole meuniere. The dish consisted of several enormous, thick "soles... read more

If you want to eat seafood I strongly recommend this restaurant. You have other choices but this one is for locals. Excellent prices and food. You have all these restaurants along Copacabana etc, all tourist traps. Try at least one time this restaurant and say for yourself, and don´t expect to find tourists inside it. I suggest shrimp risotto as... More

There isn't the wow!! factor, the place is going under a refurbishment that doesn't bother the clients but you can see the walls half painted, the place in general is very simple. The food is also not very elaborated, the plates are huge, serve two or three people well and it is very good, you can see it is home... More

As with most Brazilian restaurants, the servings are generous, so it's best to go with company. The Sunday afternoon I went the restaurant was filled with local families enjoying their traditional family dinner. I had the shrimp risotto, which was excellent. This is true 'local dining' and a great comfort food destination.

Ask for what you desire and you'll see its appearance some minutes later at your table. Recommend to avoid "sold out" days, be there in times you'll reign.

The shrimp risotto is the signature dish. The risotto was well done, with the rice moist and tasty. Shrimp was fresh. This is an old restaurant but the service was top notch. Worth a visit.

The best "Shrimp Cakes" (Bolinho de Camarão) that i have tasted in Rio. The food was very good, and not that much expensive. It is not a cheap restaurant, but i cannot consider it as an expensive one. The cost of the complete meal was around 60 reais (20 Euros). I really recommend this restaurante if you want to taste... Excellent balance between food quality and price. With generous serving, the simple but very well prepared seafood is an excellent option to have a nice lunch. Despite of large dinner room and many tables, pay attention about time to arrive because usually the restaurant fills early.

We had lunch at this restaurant in Barra da Tijuca. Srimp empanadas (Pastel) is a good way to begin after ask the beers. We asked a Large Srimp Risoto, around U$50. This serves well at least 8 people. Very good option. The service is also good.

It is amazin how well organized was their work. The place was crowded, and people was continously coming in and going out,.. Good food, good place.
