This is the best burrito you get in Rio de Janeiro! Fresh, tasty and a really spicy sauce. Love it! Margaritas are great, also try the non-alcoholic Jamaican Water. The service and price is good, staff speaks mostly english which is rare in this town, unfortunately. I regularly go there, be it for a quick meal or also to start... More

I have visited Azteka several times and I have to say that I'm addicted! The food and the service is outstanding ! You must try the Burrito called the Pueblo, it's my favorite!

I went to Rio to visit my best friend with few expectations about the food we'd eat. This place turned into the mainstay of my diet while I was there! The atmosphere is unique and modern, and the food was so good we went back 3 times and ordered delivery twice. Definitely worth a visit - have a caipirinha and... More

one toilet without paper or soap, cockroaches and the fact that nobody else was in that little bistro should have made us leave. But it is one of the few places that has vegan options so we stayed. The food good. The vegan stuff at least. But then came the bill and we were asked to pay about 50 Dollar... More

We happened to come across this restaurant as we were walking down Rua Visconde de Piraja. We need a bit of change from Brazilian diet so decided to try Mexican in Brazil. It's a tiny hole in the wall kinda place but decorated really well in a modern and elegant style. The food was good however 3 orders of tacos... More

We arrived while searching for a restaurant. It's a nice ambient, a little bit to cozy for a family. The service was great but the prices where expensive compared to the quantity of plates we had eat this few days

Our wife and I stumbled onto this small Mexican eatery one evening during Carnival in Rio. Most places to eat were packed, but tables were available here and so we gave it a try. The restaurant is located on a busy street in the heart of Ipanema, and the decor and ambience were meant to attract a younger crowd. Our... More

As a mexican living in Rio, I went to the Azteka for a weekend brunch, the place has anything but mexican food. The cook has no idea what he is doing, the spanish waitress is clueless and the prices (!?!?) are ridiculous! Waste of time and money. Whoever wrote good things about this place has never eaten in a real... More

I see many positive comments here so I only can think they have a great experience right... Well, I read about this mexican restaurant and I went with about 10 friends there. It was so tiny.. We were served by an argentinian waiter who was nice.. The food took a while to come, more than we expected but maybe they... More
