Coccinelle is a great place to have lunch when visiting the historical center of Rio. I was there last week and really enjoyed the french japanese combination. The kitchen is visible from the dining room and it all seems very fresh and home made. Nice selection of french organic wines by the glass, I really liked the "Chochotte" from Luberon.

As a citizen of Rio I can say for sure that this is not the best restaurant here. I can name, at least, more than 20 that are much better. I can understand that people may like this one, but you can't call the best one. It's possible to find better ones with better prices.

Coccinelle is just the perfect mix: great food in the heart of the nicest Brazilian city! The 'bento' concept is definitely attractive on top of being affordable. And guess what? Yves will always be there to give you a useful help to chose the most appropriate wine. Saudade!!

Very cosy restaurant with great food, located on a wonderful little little street of the charming center of Rio. Is defintely worth a detour and a nice escape from touristic parts of Rio.
