The place to visit for samba! Three floors of entertainment. Excellent caipirinhas, especially the maracujá.

Amazing place, well worth the que. Don't be fooled as you arrive in lapa... The club inside is magical, elegantly decorated surprise! The music was brilliant and not being samba dancers ourselves ( we tried, and even the tasty caipirinha's couldn't help) watching was amazing! A very mixed crowd if locals, tourists, nationalities and ages. Loved it!

So, you don't need to book a tour package, just go by yourself or get your hotel to make a reservation for you. We got in and got a table in the DJ section. The food was fabulous!!! The caipirinhas are pre-mixed and little crazy. The DJ area is great. The dance floors are big and there's plenty of space.... More

I dont care how long the que is, wait and go check out Rio Scenarium! Its a massive club with a great variety of music, decor drinks and food! Fantastic Salsa downstairs, a banging club on level 2 and a place to chill out or eat on level 3. You'll find it hard to leave before 5am!!!

This is a great place. A small unimposing exterior disguises a cavernous eclectic interior with several stages and an amazing atmosphere. We got a table right next to one of the stages and stayed there for both sets. I know next to nothing about listening to Samba (except that I enjoy it) and absolutely nothing about dancing Samba but had... More
