Delicious lunch with great variety

You get typical food from Minas Gerais, but also from other brazilian states. They offer sushi and churrasco. It's an 2all-you-can-eat"-restaurant and the price is really moderate at about 45 US$

Self service. However, the bowls and dishes are small. Therefore they are replaced all the time. If you wish to taste the flavors of Brazil, this is the place to go

Does this place REALLY NEED another 5 star review??? Probably not, but it is getting one anyway. High consistency of quality, popular so the volume keeps things rotating on the buffet and so Fresh! So much variety too. My GF is Minera and she says that this is the closest you can get in Rio to the Real Minera Deal!... More

Although the name originates from the state of Minas Gerais, this restaurant offers typical Brasilian food, including the black bean stew and several other options of regional cuisine. You pay a fixed price and serve yourself

A large restaurant offering an incredible number of choices among family-style dishes, including lots of salads and stews and a barbecue. The food is on the basic side, as you would expect, but tasty and well prepared. Don't forget to pour yourself a small cachaca from the barrel located to the right of the main buffet.

My family decided to come here based on Tripadvisor reviews and are so glad we did! This buffet completely surpassed my expectations! The "home style" food was all delicious and had such a huge variety! I honestly enjoyed every single thing I ate. My entire family liked this place (including my picky mom). Service was great too. I couldn't believe... More

Everytime I go to Rio I have to have a meal at A Mineira - the real deal! The quality of the food and the service remains the same. It's a must go for Brazilians or tourists.

Good Home Cooking Minas Gerais style. Came with some Brazilian friends, one with family from MG. It is an all you can eat buffet style with all the course, even liqueurs. Some of the food was a stretch for me as I did not know what it was. Most of the food, well all that I ate which was a... More

When traveling we like to have local food and not food for "foreigners"... This was exactly that, local and good good good food. It is all you can eat buffet style typical from Minas Gerais. The quality of the food was wonderful, the selection was exactly what you expect from the grilled meat , beans, rice, farofa, okra, collard greens,... More
