This restaurant is close of some commercial center and if you are visiting your customer there, could be a option to have lunch and save some time. The food is ok.

Used to go to La Mole when we holidayed in Rio. Went back 20 years later, and the lasanha still melts in your mouth, the steaks are good too. A little nostalgic but great service and good food.

This was our first time at La Mole. We had little time and told the waiter. No problem! The food arrived quickly. The pasta with shrimp was pretty tasty, although the pasta was a little overcooked and the sauce a bit heavy. The chicken was moist and delicious (definitely not common in typical Rio restaurants). For the speed with which... More

Plenty of space for dinner. The "couvert" is well served , and the service is good . Not too much option regarding the wine list. Food is very average and needs serious improvement. Personally , I won't return, '

La Mole was a protagonist for all those upper middle class families in Rio in the 1980's. instead of eating at home, we were blessed to enjoy stroganoff and rice al Piamontese. These were top on the hit parade at LaMole. Besides, the couvert was awesome. But it is still gone. Instead, Rio evolved, Brazil evolved, the World Changed. But... More

We had a very good light meal, an interesting salad and good pizza. Reasonably priced but naively enough after the meal when liquers were offered accepted thinking they were complimentary but NO....different things in different countries, live and learn!

I use to go to La Mole since they were a small place located at Dias Ferreira Street (Leblon), and had very good memories as the food was never the best but average, but what really made the difference (hence the long waiting lines ) was the service (we new the waiters by the name) and the couvert, which was... I have been many times in La Mole because I live in Rio and the food is not good. Service either. The restaurant is cheaper than others. That's all.

Some friends organized a meeting at this place. Arrived at the place and had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. The waiting is outside (by the street) and not even a drink is offered to those waiting. After we got seated, it took forever to have a waiter at the table... When we managed to order, food did... We ate at La Mole from Rio Sul Shopping. For a fixed rate, you can eat all you can, dessert included.Very good idea of making salad by choosing the ingredients and they chop for you.
