This is a traditional bakery located at Ataulfo de Paiva Avenue, near to the charming Dias Ferreira street in Leblon. This is a Great Place to have a very good breakfast. And this is not only known by tourists but also by the local Brasilians so you have to calculate some time to wait for your table. But its totally worth it. The other option is that you get some Sandwiches for take away. Here You have a selected, enormous... More

They are in the middle of Leblon, a very charming neighborhood in Rio. It's a bakery with many special things like a deli. The breads are excellent and the mini tarts are very good also. It's a spot for locals have breakfast on weekends. It has a good atmosphere despite being crowded all day long and with a few tables... More

One of my favourites places in Rio to have breakfast. Everything is delicious, coffee, sandwiches, breads, desserts... great service as well, staff well trained and nice. A little expensive, but in a city where most of the places are expensive and not good, this is a place to valorize! It is not surprising that it's always crowded.

Very good place to have breakfast. The options are very good and tasty, and the service is excellent. For us the best part was the gluten-free options. You can buy your gluten-free bred in the mini-market inside, and order the accompaniment with coffee or juice. They have other products gluten-free in the mini-market like tapioca! Great place in Leblon.

A really good place to have coffee and empadas. What's nice is that they let you buy the cakes pastries from inside and consume at the seats outside so you don't have to order off their a la carte as most of the cakes are not on it!

Wow, the sandwiches here are simple but truly delicious, the service well, we know it's Rio. In a great area of Leblon, lots of cool locals and leafy streets nearby. Great people watching and a great way to spend a lazy sunday afternoon. A perfect mix of local flavor and something a new tourist can easily experience.

Traditional bakery in Rio de Janeiro. As always happens in Zona Sul, too much fuss. People love saying this is a great place. Great breads, great breakfast, great sandwiches. But, frankly, some good breads and the rest is extremely overpriced for the average quality. Typical of Rio's Elite way of thinking. Thinks itself as super. Actually, no big deal!

Staying in Leblon

Neighborhood Profile
Leblon
In addition to being one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in the city, Leblon is charming, elegant and simple. This posh area has some of the most famous and expensive restaurants in Brazil, along with some of the city’s best nightlife (including some places open all night). One of the best places to visit is the beach, located under the impressive “Morro Dois Irmãos” (Two Brothers Hill). It’s a pleasant place to relax and admire the local beauty.
