A nice bakery / shop selling a wide range of Brazilian and international products. There is a cafe at the back which is nice for breakfast.

Ate there breakfast a few days ago. I had hight expectations after I read the reviews about this place. The place looks nice. The omelets were average. No need to bother going there if u r not around.

This is a first class bakery with all kinds of fancy sandwiches one can custom order choosing from an enormous selection of goodies to but on your bread. Capuccino with cakes or other sweets are also great. Great ppce for brunch or evening snack. Much better than the ubiquitous carioca botecos that serve only beer and fried stuff.

Talho Capixaba in Gavea, Rio de Janeiro, has the best cheese cake ever. Their capuccino is also delicious. It is a nice place to go for breakfast or for an afternoon tea. The waiters are very nice. The sandwiches are also really good.

Comparing to Sao Paulo where bakeries are almost temples of good and fast food, Rio de Janeiro usually has not good bakeries, Talho Capixaba is an honorable exception on it, this small butchery that was converted in a fancy bakery would be between the best ones even if it was in Sao Paulo. The custom made sandwiches are exquisite, the... More

If you are in Leblon you must have lunch here, small deli style cafe. This place has great food, great service but all Portuguese. If you only speak English take the iPad to translate the menu. I would eat here every day if I could. Coffee is great also.

Talho Capixaba is a bakery, with a lot of options of breads, empadinhas, sandwiches and pastry. Is a very nice place to have breakfast and to buy food to eat on the beach. There's a little gluten free area.

It's something of an institution in Rio and so it should be. The sandwiches and salads are freshly made and excellent, the coffee is delicious, and their fruit juices squeezed to order. The ideal informal lunch venue
