If you are in Leblon you must have lunch here, small deli style cafe. This place has great food, great service but all Portuguese. If you only speak English take the iPad to translate the menu. I would eat here every day if I could. Coffee is great also.

Talho Capixaba is a bakery, with a lot of options of breads, empadinhas, sandwiches and pastry. Is a very nice place to have breakfast and to buy food to eat on the beach. There's a little gluten free area.

It's something of an institution in Rio and so it should be. The sandwiches and salads are freshly made and excellent, the coffee is delicious, and their fruit juices squeezed to order. The ideal informal lunch venue

Went there today intentionally (from Copacabana), due to the rave reviews on TA as I love baked goods; however, both my husband and I were extremely disappointed. If you're in the area, sure, give it try, but don't bother going there if its out of the way. Coconut macaroons were good, but the chocolate croissant and banana cake were both... More

We made a quick stop here one evening when we were exploring. It was supposed to be just coffee but we were tempted by the display of their baked goods and ended up having a few of them. The best was the chocolate croissant, which was really soft, gooey and amazing. The coffee was freshly brewed and delicious and same... More

It's not Wolfie's in Miami and it as not The Carnegie Deli in Manhattan, but in Leblon it is king. I am going out on a limb and calling it the best of breed in Brazil. I'm sure that the Paulistas will be stamping their Gucci's, but in Rio this deli can't beat!

Great breakfast, best one in Leblon. Really worth the wait (it is always packed). Also offers great sandwiches
