This place was recommended by the host of the b&B we stayed at and it was fantastic . They have tons of exotic Fruit based alcohol and non alcohol drinks as well as Delicious food(including a great set of Vegetarian Options)

Very good food and nice choice of local beer. A little bit disappointed by the speed of the service. Very nice outside place

Great variety of very tasty foods and beers. Beautiful and peaceful view of Santa Teresa. Try the Amazon beers.

We were walking around Santa Teresa after dinner and got very curious by the dessert menu. The combinations of traditional cakes and pies with Amazonian ingredients caught our attention, and we decided to try them out. We ordered "Mineira," a warm guava pie with Canastra cheese and cinammon, "Ceu na Terra (Heaven on Earth)", warm chocolate cake with chestnuts and... More

We were attracted Espirito Santa by the terrace, view and live music, none of which disappointed. The food however was very average and pricey. I had a prawn and rice traditional Brazilian dish which was fine. We wanted to have a bottle of wine with our meal and had great difficulty getting one that was in stock and didn't cost... More

A really unique, small restaurant in scenic Santa Teresa, with extraordinary dishes and amazonian cuisine

Never had Amazonian food before, so after seeing it starred on Lonely Planet, we went to try it out. The location is up on a hill in Santa Teresa. If you go during the day or when there is still daylight, you can sit outdoors and have a view of houses in a valley and the city way in the... More

We booked a table in advance as we knew it was popular, so we did not have to wait. The food was lovely. The Amazonian dishes are fantastic and a real excitement for your taste buds. The staff are very friendly. They have an in-house DJ on Fridays who is great. Next time I'm in Rio, I will most certainly... More

Party of 6 on a Sunday for a late (by US standards) dinner. As is customary in Brasil, the wait was long, but well worth it. The food was creative and delicious, both on the vegetarian and regular menu, and the fabulous gourd served cocktail. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again!

My girlfriend and I went for a Sunday lunch. The place was packed and everybody looked hungry and mad but since we had reservations we stayed anyway. The food took ages to come and when it finally did it was not at all worth the wait.. the vegetarian dish is just basic vegetables swimming in oil and dose not justify... More
