Kilo buffet

We went as part of a group and it seemed an ideal choice as it met most of our dietary needs. Food was fresh and plentiful, you fill your plate, get it weighed and pay accordingly. Prices seemed reasonable for what we had.

We went earlier in the week and plan to have our last Brazilian meal there today. The choice of salads and fresh food was great, I tried just about everything in the buffet. I didn't have room for grilled meats. My son said the beef was good and daughter-in-law said the chicken was delicious. My grandsons had the desserts. The... More

Do like this place, they've a good buffet selection and the grill is usually good. They charge by the weight of the food on your plate so if you really hungry go across the road to Churrascaria Carretao. It will work out cheaper. There are also cheaper kilo places in the area like Estação Sabor.

This place is a buffet where you pay by the kilo, $R80 per kilo and keep in mind they weigh the plate as well. The food was fresh, I'd give the recommendation of only getting the meat the chefs are cooking at the back, there is ribs, many types of steak and chicken and then having it witg salad and... More

You pay by weight. For dinner, the food was mediocre and expensive compared to similar places further from the beach. Choice is reasonable but not all that fresh (at least for dinner).

Just round the corner from my hotel the Windsor Palace. Went twice as being on my own it was convenient to have a serve yourself buffet. Popular restaurant.

this place is always packed full of diners seeking a great buffet that includes seafood, beef, pork, chicken, sushi/sashimi, pastas, desserts and plenty of veggie and fruit sides. Food is always fresh as the turnover is so fast. It's a "kilo" restaurant: you grab a plate, pick what you want from the buffet and then have your plate weighed to... More

We arrived fairly early and so the buffet was well laid out and of course fresh. Having a gluten allergy I asked for a help in understanding the makeup of the dishes and they were very happy to be of help. We were impressed by the diversity of dishes of Sushi to Seafood and Salads to Roasts. The quality of... More

I'll be fair. I visited around 9 p.m. in the evening. I wasn't impressed by the selection or appearance of the menu items. Yes, dishes appeared to be under the hot lights too long (and the protein leaned more heavily toward seafood and shellfish). I chose the filet mignon in brown gravy. It was very tough. Overall I found the... More

Good variety of food both hot and cold, plus a grill. You put what you want on your plate and they weigh it, I paid 12-16 US $ each time, but if you pick lighter food (or less) you can get out for less. Very convenient and something for everyone!

Staying in Copacabana

Neighborhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
