For years I have been heard about this place, but only now had the opportunity to be there. It became famous because of the "bolinho feijoada" , which is good , but I wonder if the fame of the restaurant is justified by their cause . There are other delicious snacks such as "bolinho de arroz vermelho" and a priceless... More

You will have great food, fantastic environment but go with time to spend... Urgency is not the mood and you wait to be served. Expensive. But tasteful and different menu. Try "camarão na moranga" that is shrimp in a pumpkin. Several different and expensive beers available. Close to Maracana Stadium.

My opinion is not changed about this place, I work in turism and one of my clientes have being there after I say that I dont like, he coming back very upset and told me he agree and undesrtood why I did not recomend. The menu is creative and tasteful, every time I go there I try a new appetizer. The beer selection is excellent, offering many imports. Considering the bad neighborhood, the place is expensive, but the quality is high - that is why we come back. The line to get in the bar is the downsize: you either get there early in... More

I went for the fame and for the " feijoada balls". Just ok. I do not recommend for foreigners to go alone. The location is not the best. You have to know the surroundings. The menu offers excess of frying dishes and everything is expensive. I also observed a clear differential treatment for "press people" who are present by chance.... More

Two hour wait and the food wasn't even worth it. Pricey and the owner makes sure that her friends have priority to be served even if they arrive after you. In other words...don't waste your time.

This place showed up on a search for restaurants in the Botafogo area of Rio and was located on the map as being very close to the Botafogo metro station. But when we got to the area, no one had heard of the street or the restaurant. We finally gave up looking, and when we looked at the address for... More

Food is amazing but overpriced. Nice beer selection and nice atmosphere. I like the different way that the brazilian food is made. I love bolinho de feijoada (feijoada cake - but it sells at other restaurants).

Some quick words and tips for this restaurants: 1. First on the down side. You cannot book a table at this restaurant. The only thing you can do is show up, and put your name on the waiting list. Some people take 15 to 30 minutes, just stay for just a drink or can sit and eat for hours. So... More

One of the best experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Food is delicious, combination of flavor is surprising: highlight for the feijoada cake. You can't have enough of it! The beer selection is amazing and service is also very good. Make sure you arrive early on the weekends and spend as much time as you can tasting their great... More
