Went here during World Cup for a traditional meal. Half full when we entered. Ordered Feijoada for two which we thought would come fairly quick as it is their speciality and is a stew so not cooked to ordered. Were given a tiny pot of bean stew and a shot glass of lime cocktail. Nothing special but not unpleasant. Then... More

My husband and I ate here during the World Cup and while a little pricier than the touristy places along the beach, there were more locals eating here and we thought it was the best traditional Brazilian meal we had during our 1 month stay. Worth a visit.

great fejoada, friendly staff, cool old timers playing backgammon at the next table, interesting decor.

This is not fine dining, but it was a very good meal and great value. It is basically a neighborhood feijoada restaurant; if you don't like feijoada, don't go. But if you are looking for seemed like an authentic local experience (we were the only gringos there during our visit) with great value, give it a try. We ate inside... More

We chose this restaraunt as it was our first night in rio and we wanted feijoada after googling and reading some reviews we decided on this place. The place was quite only 5 people when we went in so there was no atmosphere... Food was ok they didn't speak English I speak a little Portuguese they didn't explain that you... More

The vegetarian platter was very bland, filet miginion and vegetables also bland. Some other dishes looked better served to others. For two with wine & beer over a hundred rial. Decor was nice.

We went for the feijoada which was good albeit a little salty for my taste. It would have been nice if they identified the different meats in the stew for us.

This was the most delicious meal I had in my week in Rio. I just loved the dried meat served with collards and black beans, but a couple near us ordered the complete menu, and that looked fantastic as well. I ate at a lot of the places in Rio that have the reputation for being outstanding, but I was... More

We came here after reading reviews on tripadvisor. Firstly its location is wrong, its on the right side of the park not at the bottom. Looks quite nice but wasn't impressed with the prices or the food. Very basic meal that cost 2 or 3 times the price of other restaurants. It's basically a tourist trap. Wouldn't recommend.

Great food. Black bean stew was great as was the meat - banana desert is well worth a try. The old guy serving was so proud of his food that he continually checked we were ok (when not watching others playing chess) 2 of us dined and would have returned if we had more time. A good alternative to all... More
