Interesting homestyle Italian dishes, priced very reasonably for such a high tourist area. The quality of the food was excellent, the wines were great, and the service was efficient. Had the best dessert in Rio, a blended papaya vanilla ice cream with Cassis liqueur.

Inexpensive and unpretensious restaurant in Copacabana. Very fast service, not necessarily friendly. Food quality ok and prices too. Is popular with locals and tourists staying in the hotel in front.

Cracking staff, very busy, buzzing place, and you're able to eat there just about all the day long, which was great for us, as having to check out of our room at 14:00 and not being picked up until 20:00, we just popped in had a nice long lunch and whiled away the hours, on which was unfortunately a very... Across the street from the Windsor Hotel this amazing little restaurant provides a dinner that is absolutely heavenly. Right from the appetizers, main course and desert it was heaven. Our group each ordered something different, portions were perfect, spices were perfect every bite was amazing and left you wanting more. If you eat here you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is located directly across from the Windsor Excelsior hotel. There was a small line late on Saturday night but the wait was worth it. My wife had bruschetta which was amazing. She is not a big carb eater, but she ordered an extra piece to enjoy the flavor. I had the marsala scallopini which was incredible. There was... More

We visited here twice during our stay and both times we enjoyed the experience. The place was busy both nights and we needed to put our name down but it's worth the wait. The food is nice traditional Italian and the waiters are efficient, some friendlier than others but given our limited Portuguese that's fair enough. We particularly enjoyed the... More

Restuarant was very busy, however, service was fast. The waiters had no people skills, most unfriendly staff I have come across. Reasonable priced, however, got charged for garlic bread I didn't receive. Food was also very bland. Would not recommend

La Trattoria is a good restaurant which serves good Italian food at reasonable prices. Service is also good. Seems to be quite popular with the locals. A nice change from the purely touristic restaurants. Recommended.

The place had good write-ups and reviews on other sites, and was almost full while we were there. Very casual, comfortable dining atmosphere, waiter Luis was very good. Food however was completely average. My prawn spaghetti managed to taste like meat sauce! My partner had lasagne which was better. Dessert was disappointing, Tiramisu came in a plastic tub with a...
