Restuarant was very busy, however, service was fast. The waiters had no people skills, most unfriendly staff I have come across. Reasonable priced, however, got charged for garlic bread I didn't receive. Food was also very bland. Would not recommend

Nice atmosphere, good service, excellent prepared pasta, quite good affordable red wine from Chile). It deserves a visit for sure.

La Trattoria is a good restaurant which serves good Italian food at reasonable prices. Service is also good. Seems to be quite popular with the locals. A nice change from the purely touristic restaurants. Recommended.

The place had good write-ups and reviews on other sites, and was almost full while we were there. Very casual, comfortable dining atmosphere, waiter Luis was very good. Food however was completely average. My prawn spaghetti managed to taste like meat sauce! My partner had lasagne which was better. Dessert was disappointing, Tiramisu came in a plastic tub with a... Like someone else wrote before, food is ok. Price is not cheap. Don't expect any bread as you seat. Place is just ok too, just a regular old fashion restaurant, nothing fancy, trendy or specially charming. But this is in Rio where the options to eat out are very poor for a famous tourist destination. That said, if you are... More

The food came out super quickly, within ten minutes of having ordered and they have a nice selection on the menu but it is not the cheapest and the staff are a bit grumpy/rude. Overall it is worth going to if you have a craving for Italian.

Does everything have to be soaked in cheese and sauce? Never had gnocchi this bad. The texture was almost like mashed potatoes. 2 stars not 1 because of the waiter who spoke English.

This place was recommended to us both by our hotel and a friend we had just met in Buenos Aires, but it was very disappointing. Our pastas had no flavor at all, and the service was so-so. On a repeat visit a few nights later we had a pizza and it also was not good Italian. Amazingly, the place was... More

The food is very good and they have a nice variety of dishes and "menu of the day" options. The portions are well served. The cost is a bit high for the food, but average for that area. Also keep in mind that you are next to the beach and so you better get there early for lunch or you... More

Good wine, really good food. Had the gnocchi and pesto and both were homemade and delicious. Dessert was also very good. Prices were very reasonable. Recommend.
