One of the better meals we had in Copacabana

When we arrived (at 10 p.m.) the restaurant was full and there was a small queue of people waiting. This is normally a good sign. We were seated within 5 minutes. The service and the food was good. We had the Garlic Bread starter between 2, Calabrese ravioli, Linguini with Tuscan... read more

The place was really busy, we turned up without a reservation but from the amount of reserved tables we couldn't help but feel a little lucky to get in! As previous reviews have said, a nice mix of customers and a quaint little Italian restaurant to match the atmosphere. Really nice service and the food was pretty good, the pizza... More

This was a surprise, just around the corner from Copacabana Palace hotel. The restaurant was jam packed with customers. The menu has lots of options, great pasta. Limited wine list, but good quality and very reasonably priced. The pasta is individually prepared and served from the pan directly at your table. Great choice and I would definitely go again.

That should tell you something, the waiters were great and very helpful, the wine was not too expensive considering where the restaurant is next to Copacabana beach, and food was juts lovely. Spent a good time with lots of good local company

A small restaurant in Copacabana. Not expensive. We had the matriciana spaghetti that was good, but not exceptional. It serves well for a quick dinner or lunch.

I love Trattoria, because I feel it is my cooking when I don't want to cook (except for the german tart!). Also, except for the queues (but the move fast), they are very welcoming.

We went to La Trattoria upon the recommendation of a neighbor at home as well as the driver who picked us up at the airport. It is located close to Copacabana Beach and was around the corner from our hotel. The wait staff was very helpful. Service was excellent. The food was great, nicely seasoned, hot, and serving size was... More

Interesting homestyle Italian dishes, priced very reasonably for such a high tourist area. The quality of the food was excellent, the wines were great, and the service was efficient. Had the best dessert in Rio, a blended papaya vanilla ice cream with Cassis liqueur.

Inexpensive and unpretensious restaurant in Copacabana. Very fast service, not necessarily friendly. Food quality ok and prices too. Is popular with locals and tourists staying in the hotel in front.

Cracking staff, very busy, buzzing place, and you're able to eat there just about all the day long, which was great for us, as having to check out of our room at 14:00 and not being picked up until 20:00, we just popped in had a nice long lunch and whiled away the hours, on which was unfortunately a very...
