Well executed food, relaxed environment, good service

One of the best restaurants in Rio ran by the chef of a former head of state. We ordered the smaller menu degustation and every dish was perfectly executed. The Brazilian espumante (frizzy) was superb. The service unintrusive but attentive and the place was relaxed, not uppity which is great in... read more

I had dinner with friends at this restaurant and although the expectations were very low I was incredibly disappointed with the meal. The restaurant is extremely overpriced and does not worth a Michelin star AT ALL. The food is below average and at times too salty or too sweet.

Great food in sofisticated expensive restaurant, the ideal settiing for a dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Perfect service, elegant and quiet ambience, in the second floor with full view of the kitchen, without excessive luxury - something rare in Rio nowadays - where you can fully enjoy a superb meal and have a quiet conversation. The chef offers three... More

When we got our reservation confirmed about two months ago the restaurant sent us their menu options with prices. Once at the restaurant these prices were suddenly around 12% higher. I don't mind paying but you cannot give us one price for a reservation for a specific day and then increase the price. The service in the place was not... More

It is not without reason that Roberta Sudbrack was voted the best female chef in Latin America. Her restaurant - Roberta Sudbrack - in Jardim Botânico, Rio de Janeiro, is spectacular. The ambience is elegant without being excessively luxurious. The service is professional and attentive. But, of course, the highlight is its cuisine. The restaurant offers three possible "experience" which... More

Great restaurant in the Jardim Botanico neighborhood. The menu is prix fix - you can normally chose from 3, 5, or 9 courses. The food was beautiful - fresh, local ingredients perfectly prepared. Our favorite was the "surf, turf, and farm", which was shrimp, hearts of palm, and quail eggs. Creative and delicious. It's pricey. Plan on at least 1000... More

Came here after doing a michelin star check up in Rio and deciding this would be the best choice after it been said this place used local Brazilian ingredients and Brazilian dishes. What a disappointment it was to eat with such high expectations from various (non tripadvisor) reviews. Firstly price was very high. Just a single bottle of the cheapest... More

We did the 9 course taster menu, our thoughts were we are on holiday in Rio and have been to a few Michelin star restaurants back home, let's give one abroad ago. The food was good but they have to rethink a number of things. 1 is the price they charge is to expensive for the food they were serving.... More

I was really looking forward to this meal after receiving good recommendations from family and friends but we were extremely disappointed. We ordered the 9 course tasting menu and about half of the courses were extremely unimpressive. In fact this is the first time in a restaurant of this caliber that both my husband and I left food on our... More

I went for a dinner with my wife. Ordinary food. 3 course. The cheapest one plus a half bottle of wine cost me R$ 800. Extremely overpriced. I do not recommend
