If you're visiting Rio from abroad and want to try authentic Brazilian ingredients prepared by the hands of one of the best chefs in the world, this is your place to have dinner.

I'm surprised by the lack of vegetables, considering the season, variety available in Brazil and a contemporary culinária movevement towards eating more "green". Seems Roberta is still cooking for fat, brasilian politicians. The cheese was brasilian and awful, without a grape, a slice of pear or apple. The fruit in the dessert, on the other hand, was not(!) brasilian -... More

I guess I had read the reviews and had a high expectation of this restaurant. Tonight we went there and it was disappointing. Totally unexpected. To begging the wine list is very limited and honestly it offers little flexibility . The atmosphere is sober borderline boring. The food was good but not great, and honestly for what we paid $280... This fine restaurant was highly recommended in the our Rio travel guide (Time out). We had a reservation for 10PM (coming from a performance at the Teatro Municipal). The restaurant is located in a residential area, and makes a very classy appearance to the visitors upon arrival. Natural stones, interrupted by large red areas give the interior a elegant and... Great building, nice decor... The sevice was top notch, had the 9 tasting menu, from begining to end it was amazing, such taste.... Even the butter tasted great, probably the best desserts i have had in ages. A must go to place if you are in Rio. Ahhh forgot...... We are early eaters so the 8:30 start was late for... More

Not that the food is not good, it is, but definetly is not worth the money. The price is way too high it is double the price of others that are already luxurious restaurants and have same level of food.

I had a very good lunch with good entrees (even the butter was amazing), the Picadinho was impressive and the dessert was quite surprising. Not even the food was good but also the service. On the other hand, it was extremely overpriced. You can easily spend R$200 without drinking. There are certain other great restaurants in Rio with better prices.

I ordered the 9 course tasting menu and I appreciated the combination of ingredients that the chef used to create multidimensional Flavors. Asking the staff about the use of the ingredients helped me understand better the art that the chef had created.

Rio does not seem to be the place for fine cuisine. It is highly overrated and prices are mind blowing. But if you crave for a good and refined dinner, Roberta Sudbrack is the place to go. The cuisine is not very sophisticated but the ingredients are excellent and cooking is to perfection. Service and decoration are ok although not... More

This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip to Rio. Roberta was rated by some as one of the top ten restaurants in Latam. The place is small, modern and nice but it seemed to me like a good restaurant in a posh restaurant that serves mainly people living nearby. Menu is some how confusing because you have... More
