I believe this is the best Italian restaurant in town. Go there for lunch to avoid the dinner crowds. My favorite dish is the grilled octopus in tomato sauce. A nice side dish is rice with broccoli. The restaurant is located one street behind the Copacabana beach front, where the FIFA Fan Fest is also located. In case you plan... More

Not cheapest, but probably worth it. Waiters were willing and smiling, food was very nice. Overally one of favourite options in Leme, when budget allows.

For years this is undoubtedly Rio most visited restaurant for business lunches. Over the years, I have had numerous business lunches here and have never understood the appeal. The dining area is as nondescript as it could possibly be. The tables are placed so close together that it precludes you from having a productive business conversation. I would say that... More

The owner, Mr. Antonio, is a master cook who created a unique way of mixing the Brazilian, the Italian and the French cuisine. Ask for the 5 pasta dish and then ask for a grilled Cherne with lemon risotto. Unforgetable! Outstanding collection of good wines, too.

First, We had hard time getting there, and no cab driver knew where it was. As soon as we got there we were seated in a corner table, and not a single waiter understood English so we had to communicate via hand/body language, food was expensive, not very much of a variety to choose from, no chicken plates. We ordered... More

We are regulars at D'Amici. Excellent food, attentive and courteous service although a little slow. Decoration is nice but very classical. Prices on the high side but worth it. The round table is great for family or friends gathering.

My wife and just needed a nice sit down meal at the time and we walked in to a very nice establishment. I knew I was going to eat there when my wife saw the tablecloths and napkins. She loves that!! The "couvert"is excellent and practically a meal in itself. The wine list is excellent and quite varied. Only caution... More

D'amici is like a dear old friend, always there when you want to visit. It is the perfect place for a business meal, it caters in fact, the business community. Service is cordial and discreet, staff are very attentive. Decor has seen better times, but this is part of the attraction, the old Copacabana shines in D'amici, the brilliant times... More

This is a good place to continue a business conversation over food. The decor is rather flat but quiet, the food was good but not inventive, and our waiter attentive but not doting.

This restaurant offers one of the best italian food options in the city. You often will find it busy, however the fodd is excellent and they offer very nice options. The price is high, but this is normal if you consider that this restaurant is in Copacabana.
