Expensive, slow service, poor food basically sums it up...because it sits looking out onto Apoador (surfing beach in Ipanema) people assume it will be good..so the 2* rating is based on the view because the rest was very poor. Suggest you sit there and have a beer and enjoy the view. Maybe it was just that we were there for... More

Recently ate here based on restaurant being listed on a webpage in top 10- food very expensive , quality okay but certainly nothing amazing, not worth cost. Lots of beggars, street sellers freely coming up to diners- had at least 8-10 people either selling or begging in 60 -90 mins which really doesn't help you enjoy food or location! Only... More

We went there during Fifa 2014 and found it while walking on Ipanema, accidentally. We meant to have some drinks but after some caiprihnas, which were great, and beers ( served in ice full bucket) we ordered few meals and got surprised how fresh, tasteful and colorful food they served. Must try is Bahia Moqueca which is mix of lobster,... More

We went here on our 2nd last night (17.07), after 3 weeks in Rio, having come across the name in the Lonely Planet. I'm glad that we did- The view is amazing: great location. The prawn starter and Moquecas main-dish were very nice (one of the fish main dishes was slightly overcooked however). Service was excellent.

The food was good and unique- but very pricey- You cannt beat the location right on the beach in Ipanema close to Copacabana

I went there with a friend to treat her for her birthday. We both order fish, of course, and had white wine. We went on a weekday, so it was very quiet, and all the peace was for ourselves. The fish was very good. We ate looking towards the sea. It was very calmed. The waiter was very nice to... More

Ate there Monday night...2 days later, my credit card had been duplicated and R$1500 stolen. Called the manager to complain, they did not care. Terrible customer service. Beware! Follow them to the register when using your card.

Great location along the secluded end of Ipanema beach. It is an informal place with a great view of Ipanema and Leblon. It is worth coming here at sunset for a beer...AND THAT IS IT! BEWARE OF THE FOLLOWING: 1) the food is poor and outrageously priced, 2) the drinks are now well prepared, so stick to beer, 3) there... More

Went to this restaurant after a sunset on Arpoador and after it was recommended by one of the locals. Prices were a bit higher than we have seen so far (R$70+ per dish'), but if the food is good it's worth it. The service was good and the presentation (food on the plate) was even great. It looked delicious. However,... More
