Nothing better than a refreshing juice in a sunny day, together with a healthy freshly made sandwich all together with smily faces all around. A corner where you go to feel happy, see and be seeing. Polis went from a corner nice hang out to a watch people place. If you around Ipanema you cannot miss it, beautiful people all... More

This is one of the best juice bar in Ipanema beach. It offers 23 types of different fruit juice (including Acai), small warm sandwiches, milkshakes and hamburgers. There is no seat. You either eat outside on a tree bench or lean towards the counter to finish your food. For my one week plus stay in Rio, I had frequented this... More

We had an acai (300ml) to share - more than enough as it is very sweet. Though it is delicious and refreshing, can get too sweet. When we ordered this, the cashier gave me a thumbs up. We also had a burger with salad and a cheeseburger, delicious and affordable. Perfect for a quick stand up lunch, or even possibility... More

I walked to this Suco spot each morning after my run/walk on the beach. I was a little nervous since I don't speak Portuguese but if they has an English menu and they did and were very accommodating. I was able to slow down for a few minutes when I went here as it is customary to drink your Suco... More

Polis Sucos and Bebe Lanches practically launched the Açai (Brazilian anti-oxidant berry) in the 1970's and still thriving. There, at Polis Sucos, the service is fast and you can go from a simple juice to the most extraordinary fruits such as cupuaçu or graviola. It's a great place to run into health enthusiasts and meet up with friends whom you... More

Always busy place and seems to be very popular with locals. The Acai, though super fattening, is delicious. The juices are good as well. The servers are pleasant and friendly. Indeed an institution in Rio.

You can count on Polis Sucos for a quick lunch break from the beach. The juices are great (I enjoyed the tutti fruiti), and the chicken sandwich and cheeseburger were a hit for us! Way better than fast food, and just as fast!
