The show goes on with changes since 1978. First we had a dinner at downstairs and then the show was at upstairs and continued less than two hours. The dinner service was perfect and the restaurant was fine. The show clothes were stunning. We have paid 180 reals for dinner & show except drinks. We have privately come to the... More

Theatre is quite cheap and dingy looking - not classy at all. The costumes are brilliant. A few of the acts are less than desirable and the worst of all is the audience participation at the end for open mic time..makes you want to run and ask for your money back. Plus drinks are twice the price as anywhere else.... More

The top, the best, all done perfectly stylish, great music, great dance, good crowd. the place to go, during the WorldCup, but dont say your GERMAN this week. Play Austrian, and have the Caipirinha, Caipiroshka or Champagne.

You sit in a dingy hall, get your picture forcibly taken then aggressively hawked to you for 20 reis. The show is a mish mash of what tourists think samba is with a martial arts demo thrown in. I think the performers themselves are good and they clearly try hard so kudos to them. My beef is with the whole... More

Run down location and the show was amateurish at best. One expects to see many girls in pretty outfits, but the majority of the show involved males performing random acts. Some gymnastics, some silly dancing, and ok music. This was a BIG waste of money and would have been more appropriate if priced at $25 at most.

We watched the very expensive Brazilian samba show in Plataforma. Our ticket came with 2 free drinks ( one each). No meals were included , but one can order. The costumes were very colorful and exotic. The performers showed great professionalism and showmanship. Before the end of the program , they would call the guests coming from different countries. Unfortunately... More

Plataforma it's a traditional steakhouse in Rio. I've been frequently eating there for decades but it's been a while since I last went there. Be careful with the portions, they are huge.

I love the service of the waiters! I like how they serve each customer's plate. Really wonderful! I was so full but wanted to eat more. Delicioso!
