Had a very nice meal here with my family during World Cup. Good food. Very clean restaurant. Not too expensive. Nice wines.

excellent food, a bit crammed in space but worth it. close to copacabana beach. Price is reasonable for North American standard. Was recommended by tour guide

In the past, I have tried several times to eat there for no avail. The restaurant room is rather small, and prices where not high enough to discourage clients to come over. Situation has changed and even though, at normal business hours it has still a very high rate of attendance, it is possible to get places if not at... More

Wandered past this small unassuming place with yellow awning a block in off of the main Leme/Copacabana beach avenue. It seems to be a small cramped place with the fish display counter up front and the staff working behind but it opens up a bit inside. Traditionally dressed waiters provided a professional but welcome greeting. After seeing all the fish... More

First the good thing. The seafood is fresh, they will present it for before perparation and the staff seems to be very polite. The ambience is simple, old style nothing to complain, nothing special. Yet, the prices are extremely high. The Gambas in a "Saffron and White Wine" stew were about 109,- plus tax. this would be OK but the... More

We had broccoli risotto with octopus and it was delicious. The prices are not overpriced as the other reviewers say, since the amount of the food is huge, definitely order one dish and share for two people. The service is great also.

Good seafood menu but the place is very cramped and tatty with the loudest coffee machine I have ever heard! Staff are "mature" and show little enthusiasm. Overpriced given the lack of facilities and service.

This place was disappointing, especially since our tour guide had recommended it. The waiter presented the wonderfully fresh uncooked gamba (large prawns) and fish fillet to us on the way to the kitchen. Out came a very dried overcooked fillet, and the Prawns a la Shirley turned out to be coated in thick batter. We could have had the same... More

We went there with a co-worker on a Monday night, the place was crowded but we could get a small table next to the bar. We order a Chilean white wine which was ok (the most cheap of the list), fried squid rings as appetizer, a black ink paella for two as main course and 2 coffees. The food quality... More

a hidden gem in a tranquil street, part of rio's gastronomical heritage. Service was very attentive, friendly, special and personalised. They managed to cook up some moqueca although not on the menu and everything was delicious. Servings are almost enough for 2! good wines and caipirinhas. Try to get in early as the place fills up and there is limited space.
