Nice experience

This was the first and only time I've ever had Feijoada, so I can't compare to others, but I'd say that, although it was a little on the pricey side, the food was good and the service was excellent. We had coffee afterwards, which was brewed right at the table using a personal espresso thingy that... read more

My first visit was with my wife and we had a wonderful and romantic dinner for two in this very beautiful and small restaurant. I had such a great time that I decided to bring a group that I was leading there for our opening dinner. I took a group of 24 to Casa da Feijoada and we had an... More

The food and service at this restaurant was good. It was fun to experience the local food specialty which includes an before meal drink (I suggest the passion fruit one) and dessert. The service was easy going and good. They had noticed we liked a dish especially well and gave another. The only problem with this place is that it... More

We visited this place based on a recommendation by a frienc from Rio and had some feijoada type of dinner there (meat, rice, beans,...). The food was good and came in a large quantity, but the place is also a bit pricey.

Was looking for some good Fejoida in Rio and this place came highly recommended. It's not that big, very cozy tucked away in Ipanema. When I was there it was not that busy and I'm glad. Looks liked if it was packed you would be sitting on your neighbor. The food was tasty and well prepared. The waiter spoke good... More

My first time ever trying feijoada and this place was great! Excellent service, and they are clearly proud of their craft. Just order the traditional meal for the table, and you receive unlimited amounts of everything: meat, greens, potatoes, the house alcoholic drink, and much more that I can't remember. Also, they didn't serve the tail, ear, hoof, etc to... More

Feijoada is an iconic dich from Brazil. Is traditional and delicious. This restaurant is really great for having that. Just reserve the entire afternoon for eating and do not have breakfast. And do not forget to have enough Caipirinha de la casa to digest!!! This one is expensive.

So definitely had to try out Brazils national dish and had heard about this place on YouTube, online sites, and TA. I'm glad that we went to try it but once was enough. Located right next to the metro station in ipenama, it was a cozy place. We were expecting it to be busy but I think there were maybe... More

The waiter was really helpful. We do not speak portuguese but he was there to translate. The food was a bit salty but we realise that it is so in most restaurant. we really enjoyed the coffee and the traditional way they prepare it. we even bought the machine. Was a bit expensive..... but happy to bring it back home.
