We had the Light Breakfast. The papaya was so yummy. I loved the croissant and the yogurt with honey and granola. The fresh-squeezed OJ was the best I've ever had. The service was impeccable. We will come back later to sample their desserts that look delicious.

Just around the corner from the Marriott hotel in Copacabana is this little hideaway. Fresh baked pastries, light breakfast and free wi-fi. Perfect place for a quick meal before we walked to Ipanema Beach.

This bakery was very close to the hostel we were staying. We went there two times. The service is REALLY slow. Although we liked what we had, I think the food usually "sits" there for a while and the it's not that fresh. For the price they charge I think they should only provide fresh stuff.

We liked everything we ordered here, and even took an apple danish to go. Get the iced hot chocolate for dessert!

I went there around 21:00. The bathrooms were filthy. The service was very slow, despite the place being almost empty. The dessert was horrible (cuscus) The main dishes were ok.

We are late risers, so being able to eat wholesome breakfast in the afternoon is a big plus. Very cute location with a ton of scrumptious pies, cakes, tarts to lure you in. Small restaurant in the back of the bakery. This was the only restaurant we went to twice --once for breakfast and the other for lunch. The portion... More

Had a wonderful breakfast at the Bakers on our last morning in Rio. Wish we had found it earlier. Good choices of omelets and great choices of baked goods. Delicious coffee as well.

Maybe the other reviewer was not lucky. All the times we've been there, the food was delicious. We had expresso, some pastry, sandwiches and twice we had a complete breakfast. This is the third time i visit rio and don't miss The Bakers.
