This little restaurant was a pleasant surprise after some disappointing dining experiences. We stumbled across this restaurant towards the end of our stay by chance and was so pleasantly surprised. Delicious food - we took kebab and sea food couscous. Staff was also really friendly, which is not so common at Copacabana. We were positively surprised about the restaurant so that for sure we go back there when we return to Rio.

It was so nice to eat arabic food in Rio de Janeiro. After some bad experiences at the boulevard in Copacabana it was a nice surprise about the quality of the food. Really delicious, much choice and also friendly staf, which is not always common here in this touristic area. We are leaving soon, but next year, when we are... More

Right on the main avenue, close to most of the other action. Have a couple of drinks on the beach and then walk across to the restaurant for a sumptuous meal. My colleagues had lamb and they liked it (although not typical middle-eastern taste). I had a bunch of vegetarian stuff (although not that great, I happy that I was... More

My friends had eaten here before and this was my first visit while staying in Rio. I wish I had discovered this place sooner as I probably would go back. The service was very good and he explained each selection and brought us extra bread (nan) since we ordered much more than we realized! Every dish was quite flavorful as... More

I have been there for lunch and for dinner. It's completely different. During the day you have a buffet with all kind of Arabian food and salads and pay for what you have eaten. At night sometimes you can have belly dancing. The food is an Brazilian interpretation of Persian food and it is very good specially it's lamb. The... More

The meal was Ok, nothing special - the humous rather tasteless, and bread not to the expected standard. Worst part was that we were also uncomfortable. We sat at the edge of the restaurant, and after a while, the sky blackened, and a heavy rain storm began. The waiter wound out the canopy, but it leaked, and some of us... More

We just ordered a shared mezza dish because we weren't particularly hungry. Wow, it was a lot of food; and was delicious as well. We ordered the super mezzas for R$99 ($37 U.S.) and a bottle of Cabernet for R$60 ($21 U.S). We could only finish about half of the food! Look at my photo of the menu to see... More
